Usually pretty good and generally above average for these types of restaurants. It's a "go to" for us. The beans are pretty good here and that's rare to find. I don't think I have a favorite dish. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered.

Marysville is fortunate to ave several good Mexican restaurants but Tres Portrillos may be the best of the lot. Our most recent visit was really impressive. Nice happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers. My main course was super. I had Carnitas (slow roasted pork) that was cooked perfectly. I washed it down with a nice Sangria. My wife had an excellent burrito combo. Wonderful staff. Quick service. Great experience.

Our party of 10 enjoyed a delicious meal here on Cinco De Mayo. We expected to wait to be seated. It took about an hour because they do not accept reservations. Once we were seated, no one waited on us. I stopped a young man passing by to ask if he could find our server. He offered to get us our drinks. Then we found out he had to find someone else who could serve alcohol. Once we were all served beverages, we had to ask for menus, then ask again for someone to take our orders. Our food was served to 2 or 3 of us at a time which was kind of irritating. The staff was busy handling out beads, leis, and blinking toys for Cinco de Mayo, but not concentrating as hard on service. The food was fresh and delicious. We had no complaints about the food whatsoever. It's a great place if you love Mexican food. They sell virgin daquiris for the young ones. I highly recommend the shrimp fajitas for two. My husband and I shared the dish and both had plenty to eat.
