A really good choice of interesting tapas with authentic Spanish tastes and more . Lovely baked octopus with potatoes , good patatas bravas , four tasty huge prawns in garlic , chorizo baked with honey , stuffed peppers and more . We had a good selection with two portions a person and felt properly fed ! Portions are generous and good value . Wine list is well put together and also decent value for money At the end of the meal we were brought a surprise sweet treat and asked to guess the key taste - and tricked by our eyes . Our family of seven dined here and enjoyed it! Nice atmosphere and service with good food selection. The girls liked the child portion of chicken souvlaki and I enjoyed the Greek salad and dolmades. Also excellent were the vegetarian mousaka and the lamb guvec. Would definitely return again.

We went here to celebrate my daughter's graduation and what a great idea that was.From the moment you approach the front of the restaurant you know that you are going to experience food at its finest.The welcome we received was very friendly and the choice of food was mouth-watering.2 of us chose the lobster starter, we agreed that we have never tasted anything so amazing in our lives.We followed this with a perfectly cooked fillet steak.A day later and we are still talking about the quality of this meal.The service was very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive.The meal was not cheap but it was less than I thought it was going to be and worth every penny.I live less than 50 miles from Torquay and will make this trip on occasions just to visit this restaurant.

We were on a short break in Torquay and had seen "Amici" whilst walking around the town. We returned in the evening, and were pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were polite, friendly and efficient. The drinks and food were very good. And whilst the tables are comparatively close, the layout and the dividers didn't make you feel like you were squashed in.

Saw the good reviews and booked a table.On entering found it to be ordinary looking-expected it to look a lot more authentic. Staff helpful and order taken fairly quickly.Starter arrived and was ok. Mains arrived warm not hot (risotto and pasta) but not offered parmesan and there were no oils or condiments on the table. We shared a semifreddo which was ok.Slate with reservation name a nice touch.Wine was good.Liquers were well priced.Unfortunately we found the whole experience quite underwhelming and felt that no one was actually Italian?!!
