Lampuga Bistro Condesa

I used to be a weekly customer. Fish, potato chips, extraordinary dessert (Chocolate with hot chile!!). Always recommended it. Have been away because they are not pet friendly. Went yesterday and was really surprised of spike in prices. Ordered onion soup that had a floating slice of box bread with some cheese and very little onions. Served tacos with cold (and I mean cold) tortillas and had to be sent back twice, and so on and on. Final question; will I be back again? Well, perhaps sometime I will try again before making a final judgement.

The food and service were exceptional. The restaurant is lively and casual, but with a sophisticated crowd. Large windows face the street making for a light and airy atmosphere. Reservations are essential unless you want to risk a long wait. Special kudos for their hummus, olives and almonds, and huachinango dishes

Casa Portuguesa

The Casa was the best restaurant we ate in during our trip to Mexico City. Attractive dining room (you can eat outdoors facing the park if you prefer). Attentive staff and very good food. As you would expect with a Portuguese restaurant, the mussels were as good as though you were eating in its homeland. Really succulent. The meat was of a high standard too.Thank you for sharing with us your experience. The team is very happy to read your feedback and we all are looking forward to welcoming you back in our restaurant soon.

Almara

I stopped here because it was close to my bed and breakfast, and ended up having a terrific meal. I had Salsa Puttanesca, prepared at tableside, which I thought was interesting, and a tomato and goat cheese “salad“, which was more like a set of toppings on a circular cracker, but which was very good. I was fortunate enough to hit their jazz night, with a five piece live ensemble, so that was a welcome surprise as well.Dear GtaylorpdxThank you very much for sharing your comments about your experience in AlmaraJust for your informationt , we have our Jazz night , on last thursday at month. Quattro is a very good classic Italian restaurant. The quality of the food is very good, the device is very professional and attentive. They have a good wine list although sometime on the higher price to value ratio. They have the best grappa list in México City.Good location within Santa Fe. The decor is a bit dated and some additional lighting at night would do them good.Good place for a good classic upscale Italian dinner.Thank you very much for your visit and comments. it will be a pleasure to serve you again.
