I was still working (now I'm in retirement),when i visited first time Casa del Sole.It happened about ten years ago.Till today,when I celebrate a family anniversary my first option is this restaurant.Not far from the center,quiet ambience,gentle staff,good food,low bar music.Could be even romantic!My preferred menu :Uniqum as appetizer,salmon,or tunny fish salad,veal liver with onions,baked potatoes,wild mushrooms,dry rose wine from Recas,or Dealul Mare,but could be also beef a la Firenze!They prepare also a very appreciated pizza.Ice cream with fruits,or pancake as dessert and one bottle of Prosecco.

Worst Service EVER!!! The waitress treated us THE WORST. We came info the restaurant and there were 5 waitresses staring, NOBODY came to welcome us. The waitress that took our table was rolling her eyes all the time, treating us like she was doing us a favour. we never saw somebody working like this, they have no idea how to serve in a restaurant and they are very UNPROFESSIONAL. We are italians and we are so sad this âMASSIMOâ calls Ãtself an italian restaurant...Nothing like that. A super disappointing dinner and very unpleasant experience. Stay away from this place!!!

Though it is a little far away from the city center, this restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and sone of the best pizza we have recently tasted. Good service, fair prices.Finding a parking spot was a little tricky.I definitely recommend this place!

Had dinner here with my brother two days ago. Place is pretty new and they serve only few types of pasta. As appethizer, we got also on the house some 36 months maturated parmesan cheese which was nice. We shared Tortelloni di zucca (29 lei) which were pretty interestig at taste, defnitely worth the try. They don't bring you extra parmesan cheese like in most Italian restaurants tho, also they serve it in a to go cup, not on a plate. Foe dessert, we got on a house some panna cotta which was also nice. Overall, we had a good time, menu is pretty small as they have only pasta, service was fine, my rating 4.5 / 5 stars.

A very nice place to deconnect from the daily noise. During summer their garden offers the perfect conditions to cool off, and also good privacy.Their dishes make you wish come back as soon as possible. They really hit their target :), leaving you with a nice feeling of satisfaction, or at least, this is how I always felt after eating there.I personally love the soups: huge portions with perfectly balanced ingredients.We are glad to hear that your experience at Pescada was amazing! In the cold season, our welcoming board is as relaxing as the garden is in the summer and is a retreat from urban noise. We had to wait for a few time because they were busy, but that was not a problem: we are on holiday and they were very kind. The food was delicious so the delay was not important. The green apple drink was really good so the pasta and the brouchets. Highly recomended!

I started this evening with a chicken soup and my husband had a beef tartar. We was served by Marius, he served us all evening in most professional way possible. The starters both looked perfect and tasted just at good, my husband claimed that the tartar was one of the best he had.As main course I had the duck and my husband had the sirloin. The duck was as tender as it could be and full of flavors, the sirloin was perfectly cooked and topped of with duck lever that was a perfect complement.We both had the the chocolate dessert.Having dinner at the Merlot was a true pleasure and we warmly recommend the restaurant.We're happy you liked your Merlot experience Luminita L, we hope you'll be back soon! Following other TR reports we decided to have dinner at Sabres, We were not disappointed. We were given a well sited table in the garden near the pond where plenty of fish were swimming around. The menu was really well planned made easy to understand and very comprehensive if you want fish. We enjoyed both salmon dishes plus pike perch and especially the selected salads. Good wine list offering Romanian and other wines from Italy and other countries. Really appreciated the friendly helpful and efficient service. The restaurant has a lovely terrace so we made the most of the Indian summer! We started by tasting a few delicious Romanian wines and then added a pleasant meal. The waitresses were very professional and friendly. It was our last night in Timisoara so we wanted something a little special, and VinTo turned out to be a good option.
