I heard of this little gem because I tried to book a table for lunch last Saturday at any of the other restaurants I would usually go to and they were all full, so - somewhat despairing - I asked one of them for recommendations and they said - "there's this little place just opened inside Dreamland, the chef has a good reputation and it's really great food..." I didn't really have any other options and I needed a table for 6 so I gave them a call. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. A cafe with good food - inside Dreamland? :/I couldn't have been more surprised at how good it all was - from the raw seabass ceviche-style starter to the roast cauliflower with harissa, the amazing (and VERY meaty and filling) tagliatelle with bone marrow... we pretty much ordered one of everything and it didn't disappoint. If I were to pick nits, I would point out that some of the mains were a LOT bigger than others, but the overall quality, presentation and flavours were absolutely fabulous. The service was charming - not perfect, but very charming and super friendly, even though we had brought a baby with us!Definitely going back. Thoroughly recommend.

Just passing through Margate looking for coffee to prop up my Father (who had a long drive ahead of him).Stumbled upon this amazing Egyptian cafe. The Arabic coffee nourished our souls, the food was extremely authentic and tasty. Price was very low! I'd eat here every day if I could!

We sat out side under cover .the staff very polite welcomingIf this RESTURANT was nearer Margate harbour would be full all the time We had Groupon deal food fab tasty we had a few glasses of lovely red wine large glass£6.25Reasonable price Yes would return as food was perfect.

We stumbled upon this place on a day trip out with the family including a fur baby and the staff were warm welcoming and the service was amazing, the kitchen is small so not everything came out at the same time but it wasn't long between things coming out, it has a small inside area and a large outside area I would recommend booking a table and getting in early. But with that said I can highly recommend the food and the drinks would go back Hi aThank you for your review, we are pleased you had a great time, your feedback is great value to the team. We initially visited when this place first opened and we were disappointed, however we gave it the benefit of the doubt and returned last night. As we are born and bred we like to support Margateâs regeneration and hoped for a great meal! The wine was lovely however paying nearly £4 for some basic hummous smeared on a saucer with 4 slices of cucumber kind of set the tone! We order the sharing platter and at a cost of nearly £40 we expected something impressive - the chicken donee and rice was lovely however no lamb doner (they donât offer this anymore apparently but price still the same) the lamb was incredibly chewy and inedible- we left half the meat as it was poor quality. We spoke to the manager who apologised and said heâd give us a discount however turns out this was not honoured and we ended up paying full whack! Very disappointed and as an avid restaurant goer we will not return - shame but I canât see this place being open for long when there are far better quality restaurants at cheaper prices in close proximity.

We had a long-standing booking at another restaurant which let us down last minute. We managed to get a table here for six and are so pleased we did. The food was absolutely excellent and the service friendly, efficient and professional. We congratulated our waitress as the restaurant was so busy and she remembered everything we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. The shared starters for two could have fed twice as many and every main course both looked and tasted delicious. Thank you Giorgios.

We had a delivery tonight, dreadful!! When it arrived the pizza's where all mashed into the corner of the boxes, pizza's where ok, not great, I would not have them again and we eat a lot of pizza, my wife is Italian! Had the tiramisu pudding and it was very bland I only had one mouthful and left the rest not even a slight coffee taste. My son always keeps a few slices of his pizza to have for breakfast but even he said we could throw the rest away! I do not understand why this place is so high on TripAdvisor! If you are going to eat here do not get a delivery unless you like mush, total waste of money.Hi there We apologise for the state the food arrived to you in, the food was in perfect condition when it left us so the food being smashed is down to the Deliveroo rider but we are still sorry for that as we wouldnât want anyone to have their food arrive like that. Itâs sad that you are judging how high we are on tripadvisor without visiting us in person because we believe you need to be in the right environment to enjoy it all. We make all our food with love and care as we want everything to be perfect for our customers so they have the right experience with us.
