I visited Central many times but never had a chance to write a review. As situation in Greece rapidly changed the ownerâs hospitality and attention to clients is the same. Thatâs why the old clients make a visit for many years. I miss their Stuffed Calamari or Dolmades served on preheated plates and also the morning ambience when only locals come for their first coffee, sit speechless on chairs watching the people around, greeting the newcomer with typical Yassou only. Wish you good season Spiros!

I love this place. In 2014 we where in Lefkos 3 times, as in 2013, and every night we had our nightcap here - and also often our "watching the fishing boats arrive" coffee. The place is nice and clean and you sit allmost with your feet in the crystalclear water. This is the place to meet nice people, and the host, Tony, playes the best music in town. Tony allso tells the great stories from this arrea, and he's allways trying to catch the lunch on the small pier - this is quite a show. As an ekstra bonus everybody who has something to do on the harbour, has to pass this place, so you can follow all the activities here. This place IS Lefkos!

Typical greek restaurant with family management. You can choose your fish directly from the catch of the day (while dinner we saw boat coming back in the harbour with lot of fishes and we choose our!).Fresh fish mix for two just 28â¬. The place is on the sea, really on the sea, you'll hear waves sound while having lunch or dinner. Not elegant but perfect for who's looking for greek taste.

I wish I had more oportunities to go and eat there again. I consider it the best tavern in Karpathos, among the eight I experienced.

Christina, the "chef" made an authentic and traditional cooking.She proposes "classical" greek dish but also fish coming directly from the boat of Mike, her husband.Mike, the fisherman, is a personage.I know this restaurant from years and it is always the best place to eat in family or with friends

A great atmosphere, a great place. Calm, in the middle of olive trees.The family running the restaurant is warm and nice.Anna, the daughther, is a special person. Always suggesting something special just cooked by her mother.It's definitively a place to visit, eat, relax, talk.

From the first visit we loved Meltemi! Beautiful setting by the water. Traditional, fresh and very tasty food. The best sea food we have had so far in Greece and we have visited several greek islands. Our favourites were taramasalata and grilled octopus. Mixed seafood grill was amazing!!! Mousaka, calamari, traditional lamb dish, goat all cooked to perfection. Very good house wine. Very reasonable prices. Nikos, the owner, is a great person and pleasure to have a chat with. We visited the tavern multiple times during our weeks stay in Lefkos and each time was a memorable experience. This is one of our favourite places on Karpathos. Thank you Nikos!

Family run and mother cooks. Can't get any better than this on the Greek islands. Boiled horta (local spinach-like leaves) and staffed vegetables are my wife's favorites and those dishes were excellent. Fish was good, not great but atmosphere and service made up for the minor glitch. We'll be back there tomorrow..

We went on a slightly off day in terms of veggie/vegan food but what we had was plentiful and delicious! The staff were very friendly and it was a lovely tranquil setting. However, the best was saved for last: truly the best loukoumades (type of donut dessert) that I have ever tasted!
