We followed the TripAdvisorâs recommendation but were disappointed. No option for vegetarians, the bread was stale, plates too hot, potatoes with the beef completely cold, grilled veggies overdried...we had an impression that the meals were not freshly made but just warmed up. Sorry for this but there are many more better places in Bardolino!But the environment is really nice, canât say anything else:-(

A great experience , the restaurant is situated by the little harbour and is a great place for people watching. The service and food is equally remarkable try the melon and prosciutto / fritto misto / prawns followed by the sfoglianta / white chocolate cake and coffee sauce .A word to the wise , we booked the restaurant for 7 pm and thought that the journey time from Garda to Lazise would be about 30mins . Not so ! it was a Sunday evening and the traffic was awful it took 90 mins so leave plenty of time - also parking was an unknown quantity , we eventually found a car park just off the first roundabout ( to the left when travelling from Garda), it is virtually opposite the gate way to the old town .All this hassle was though compensated for by the great restaurant

Off the beaten track restaurant serving big portions of good traditional Italian food at very reasonable prices. Tagliatelle with truffle are delicious but all other dishes are good too. If you still have room for dessert I recommend the "Bidonata". Make sure to book in advance as the restaurant gets busy quickly with lots of regular customers.

We went here in a group without having a reservation and got the last remaining table. Staff was attentive and very quick to react. The drinks came almost immediately after ordering - the house wine is great, so is the aperol spritz. I had the salad with prosciutto, pecorino, figs and nuts for starter - amazing! The beef filet was tender and cooked to order. We shared some gnocchi as side, you could taste that they are homemade! Also the prices are well below the average of downtown Lazise. We highly recommend this place and will be back soon!

Big news: the fact that you didnât like it certainly doesnât mean it wasnât good!Also, if it was just a course that you didnât find to your liking, I might even have thought it was our mistake, but since you criticized anything, from pizza to carbonara, from ragu to spaghetti with seafood, well, I realized that the problem is not ours. Everything at this restaurant was praiseworthy, from the room, to the food, the wine, and especially the service, as nine English speakers (and one Italian referee) undoubtedly tested our server's patience with our barrage of questions, our requests for off-menu items, and changing the order of our courses. Elegant might be the best way to describe it all. The dishes were all beautifully presented, and the flavours complex and delicious. Desserts were superb too. Great pizza and great service.We popped in one evening and sat outside this cosy little restaurant/takeaway on the Gardesana Road linking Peschiera and Lazise.She had spaghetti and I had a pizza; both of which were lovely and satisfying.Very reasonably priced food and Pit Stop also provides a takeaway/delivery service (â¬3 supplement) and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They clearly want their customers to have a positive experience.Would definitely visit again.

I can't review the restaurant but we called in to have a look at the Amarone wine, maybe try and buy some.Unfortunately the staff were more interested in the till and some paperwork, said hello when we entered and didnt say anything else. We wandered around for a few minutes, felt awkward and left. This was a nice change of diet for us after too much Pizza and Pasta. The owner spent time with us and explained the specials. The galettes were in the main very good - but orders were mixed up and I'm not sure if it was our poor communication or not. We should have skipped the dessert crepes. They were a wee let down and why I have given this a 4 not a 5 star. Would we go again - yes - but just for savoury.
