This restaurant is unassuming but the dishes are all wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. Everything on the menu is worth tasting, and don't forget to order the Chateau Kefraya Wine made in Lebanon by those keeping the home fires burning. I have yet to visit when I have not received at least one free item, either another dish for tasting, or a dram of Raki, or a bonus of one of our favorite items.We usally go there when family are in town, and we've been at least three times this summer.Perhaps next time we'll go alone and just bring all the food home for a second meal.When you go, take yourappetite ad there is always more than you can eat and it's too good to throw away, Order plenty and take it home. Don't forget the wine by the same name!

Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Innenraum und einen idyllischen AuÃenbereich. Das Essen (wir hatten Tapas und Pizza) ist gut, der Service freundlich. Irritierend ist lediglich die Parkplatzbeschilderung. Der Restaurant-Parkplatz scheint gar nicht existent. Dort ist lediglich ein kleiner Personal-Parkplatz. Um Drehmanöver zu vermeiden am Besten gleich auf den Hotelparkplatz fahren.

Viel Auswahl und gro8e Portionen und vor allem lecker. Geboten wird deutsch-kroatisch-mediterrane Küche zu angemessener Preisleistung. Besonders die Schnitzel sind riesig, da wird jeder satt. Ich habe meines nur zur Hälfte gepackt und habe es mir einpacken lassen. War am nächsten Tag noch einmal eine volltändige Mahlzeit für mich.

Great food, great wine, friendly owner ... we spent an evening nibbling on delicious homemade tapas style nibbles and cheese while sipping wine on a shaded terrace in the peaceful center of Eppstein.We will go back for the homemade pasta!!A nice place to spend a warm Saturday evening!

Stopped by this Italian restaurant (run by authentic italians) with some friends and really liked it. Attentive staff (despite full house) Saltimbocca alla Romana, fish dishes, pasta and pizza all came well made and tasty. Sure worthwhile to spend some time there.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. Dishes look and taste fresh and healthy. (Not as greasy as the average Greek restaurant). Vegetables and salad were very fresh. They offer good fish-plates aswell. In the weekend recommended to make a reservation. Good quality Greek restaurant in Eppstein-Vockenhausen

We visited the Restaurant Pflasterschisser on a Sunday lunchtime in Jan 2014. The table was reserved in advance (Schlemmerblock) for 6 persons. After a friendly greeting we were shown to a reserved table on the first floor. The restaurant was very busy with most tables occupied. Everything was impeccably clean and the table was attractively set with fresh flowers. Indeed very inviting. The historical timber framed building with its old beams added to the charm and ambiance.The service was very friendly despite the rather long waiting time for the main course. The manageress apologized, emphasizing the point that all food was freshly prepared, and she did not want to loose this high-quality aspect by serving âfast foodâ. Our reply was - Itâs Sunday Lunchtime, no hurry at all.The salad was very good, well presented with a tasty french dressing. The main courses arrived and were enjoyed by all. All very tasty and worth the wait.In all we had a very agreeable Sunday lunch in an interesting old building (555 years old !!!) The restaurant is situated in the âmarketplaceâ (Wernerplatz) in Eppstein with the old castle towering above it. The S-Bahn station is just a 5 minute walk away making it easy to get to by train from Frankfurt.A perfect destination from Frankfurt for an excellent meal, combined with a historic setting and hilly countryside for walking.
