Loungy place in a very tiny town. Attractive outdoor terrace, equipped with trendy classical tables and chairs as well as a lounge chairs. Uncomplicated service with a big smile. Tapas were ok, not exceptional, just good. But given the cosy environment, certainly worthwhile visiting.Ps: please serve Belgian Affligem in the appropriate glass :-)

After having visited La Garde Adhemar which is an adorable village/town we stopped for lunch at L'absinthe.We had the choice between outside or inside and since it was quite a windy day and that I was with my 92 year old mother we chose inside.It took a while to get 5 people the decide what to eat, most of us changing our minds several times as we would have liked to eat the lot...We settled on charcuterie and salads for starters. Very very good. Typical French provencal food.Then some of us had steaks, well cooked (saignant for the French, probably rare for the Australians!), and some of us had absolutely delicious fish.The atmosphere was very pleasant and the personnel extremely helpful and "happy"looking.All in all we spend a wonderful day in the village and at lunch.It's well worth going there.

We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant, and enjoyed both the friendly service and delicious food. The outside seating on the village square is lovely, but the inner courtyard and inside also looked very nice. We will be back next time! Lors d'une balade, arrêt non prévu à Donzère qu'on ne regrette pas puisqu'il nous a permis de connaître l'Atelier du 7, restaurant au cadre agréable, au personnel très sympathique, aux plats copieux et succulents réalisés avec des produits frais. Je ne manque pas d'en parler aux amis et à vous qui me lirez. Un restaurant où nous ne manquerons pas de retourner.

We were recommended for this restaurant by the owner of the hotel we stayed. It is a restaurant attached to a small hotel/gites, rather a new establishment. The surrounding is beautiful, and the owner is very friendly. Food was also enjoyable, and very reasonable price.

visited here on a wednesday night in february. Restaurant wasn't busy but was being used by locals.Good selection available on pizzas together with starters and desserts.Service was very friendly from waitress and chef.Good value so happy to recommend

We went there on a weekday in August because of the positive experiences on tripadvisor. We did not have a reservation, but we were there quite early and a table for four was no problem. The restaurant became quite busy, ending up almost completely full. They have an inner garden with parasols where one can enjoy the atmosphere of the building. It was quite hot there, but they also have a room inside which is air-conditioned. We had the plat-du-jour express, including an entree, choice of the chef (excellent fish on top of a delicious sauce with black olives) and a very tasteful desert (lemon curd pie). This all for the price of 15 euro 50. With a good glass of wine and an espresso to end with, the price is very, very reasonable with regard to the quality of food served. In the weekend the restaurant is also opened in the evening, showing several tapas menu and some lovely looking plates with seafood on their website, but due to limited time we could not try that. Would love to come back one day, definately worth a recommendation for a visit.

A great place to have a nice lunch or a pleasant diner. Quite elegant with white tablecloths and beautiful place settings. Lunch has a full range of price options, depending on whether one orders salad or a full meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area at mealtime.

Amazing place and great food. Everything is fresh and so tasty. We decide to eat there based on the reviews , and had a lot of expectations, nevertheless we were surprised by the hospitality, quality and quantity. The value for money is wonderful.Thank you Patric and Francine for the amazing dinner!
