Came here whilst in Samui for a birthday celebration dinner. Selected on the basis of good reviews and pictures of a great beachfront setting. We were looking for something at the higher end, but NOT a resorts impersonality. It was perfect. We were just in time for the last of the sunset, sitting at the waters edge, quiet surrounds, interesting playlist in the background, friendly service (helped by being the only diners for much of the evening). And the food was superb, across a mix of Thai and Western dishes and of course a delicious, delicate chocolate cake (birthday surprise), all touched off perfectly by well matched small touches which complemented flavour and textures wonderfully. Highly recommended.

Dined at Olive Tree last night, the restaurant was very presentable and staff were friendly. Went for the pork gyros. I didnât find this majorly tasty which I found surprising after reading all the great reviews on trip advisor! My boyfriend went for the lamb wrap/gyros and he had the same opinion as myself. The other food on other diners plates looked nice so maybe it was just the gyros!

Itâs only a small place with a few tables, there is plenty to choice from.Some of the dishes were lovely and some with not like Iâve had before, not like Tapas In Spain so that was a little bit of a let down. Service was good and very friendly, try the house wine that good value and nice.

What an awesome place. Always spot on whether delivery or dining in. Everything is tasty and most items on the menu are under 200b. Ive eaten here quite often over the last several years and it's been consistently good. 5 stars all the way.

We arrived and order two large bottles of sparking water. Two bottles of San Pellegrino arrived and they opened that at the table. They poured for the kids first who were young and thirsty. Then we noticed their water looked kind of orange. We tasted it. It was BEER! The San Pellegrino bottles had both been reused and resealed and one of them they refilled with beer by mistake. Of then two of our kids were too sleepy to eat. So if they are serving fake off brand beer and water who knows what's in everything else. We didn't take it out on the local staff who seemed genuinely surprised. But will contact the owner. I know refilled bottles are common in Thailand but thats why you to better restaurants. The pizza was very good but we were too unhappy and dealing with the kids to care. See the photos of how the retrofitted the bottle caps to reuse. Very disappointing that a decent restaurant would cheat us. They should just serve local sparkling instead of faking high price San Pellegrino.

I'm staying at the Sheraton. Just across the road with my Italian wife. Some of the best food and service I have have had. I just wanted to keep eating. Owner so friendly and Italian to boot. I would recommend you try this restaurant.Hope to see you soon,limoncello is waiting Nello...

Food was too salty, frankly no surprising because the tomato sauce was a canned sauce, expected more for the price we paid. The restaurant was very hot, it seemed like the owner decided to save some money on the AC electric bill

What a very nice restaurant! Inside it is special and cosy. The owner and his staf are Italian and very friendly. We choose a dayspeciality, fresh pastaâs. a mediterrian salad, a pizza, bruchetta, burratta and a good Italian wine.Everything was really very good. We wish this restaurant all best. They diserve it!

Located on Beach Road in the heart of the Fishermanâs Village. This is definitely not one of your standard Thai/Italian eateries, which there seem to be an abundance on Samui. 2 Fishes Samui would not be out of place with the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne.Itâs modernist decor, exposed polished concrete environment and black timber is actually quite comfortable. The placement of the kitchen within the restaurant allows patrons to watch the chefs at work. You can tell that owner/chef, Leandro, has worked in quality restaurants around the world just by the layout, the immaculate/cleanliness of the kitchen and the pride he has in his staff and the quality of the food.For starters we went with the Queenfish Carpaccio and the Roasted Eggplant puree, dry Olives, Pomegranate, Pecorino Cheese and Crostini. Both of our starters were amazing, full of flavour and impeccably presented.For mains we had the Prawn Risotto and Wilted Broccoli & Ricotta filled Tortellini with a pork sausage and white wine sauce. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, al denta just the way it should be.Highly recommended if you are looking for great Italian food and are happy to pay the price for a quality dining experience. You canât go wrong with eating at 2 Fishes Samui.

I will add another rave review for this fantastic little restaurant. The Italian menu is creative and uses fresh local ingredients (like fish) with Italian pasta, cheeses and flavours. There is also an excellent Italian wine menu. One of the best restaurant meals ever, authentic and delicious Italian food in a lovely space, with excellent service and atmosphere. Very highly recommended.
