After coming to Weert for 8 years, I thought I knew all of the fine dining spots there. This trip I found two more that I am sorry I have not been able to enjoy all these years. De Liefhebber was recommended by a former employee now working for the hotel where I stayed. Tapas, and wonderfully creative tapas are the specialty. I highly recommend the Mystery Dinner - chef's choice of unlimited tapas for 25 Eu/person. It sounded too good to be true, so we had to try it. You could suggest things that you might not like or even you might want to see. We had been told they had excellent ribs, so we asked to have those included, and did not exclude anything. The dinner started with wine and a platter of bread, olives, cheese in the lounge area. We had a very delightful bottle of fruity red Spanish wine that complimented everything so well. We were moved to the dining area and soon a large platter of dishes were delivered by the chef and owner who explained everything. Ribs, fish, mushrooms, vegetables, chicken. It was all very creatively prepared and presented, but more importantly, it was delicious. We had two rounds of mystery dishes for 3 diners, and I would not have changed a thing. Go here and enjoy a very special and wonderfully mysterious dinner.

Four of us recently visited this wonderful little restaurant in Neerpelt. It has character, warmth, atmosphere and a classy presentation without being in any way pretentious. It is a two person partnership with Patricia looking after the service and all front of house requirements. She is lovely and friendly and very efficient and attentive. Chef, Carlo Didden has a magical touch with his dishes. We asked for the Chef's choice of menu and waited to be surprised. We were absolutely delighted beyond our expectations. This man has a creative ability with food that I have seldom experienced....he turned out numerous and varied courses which completely explored the different areas of the palate. The quality of the wines served as accompaniment to these dishes was also first rate. I don't know how many top quality chefs there are in Belgium but I'm certain that Carlo is amongst the best of them. For this quality of food, wine and service together with a lovely comfortable ambience we expected to have to pay a lot but were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices are. If you appreciate quality food and wine presented and served with class without breaking the bank, then you will have to go a long way to beat Bella Via. We will certainly be visiting again.

It's a nice authentic place with good Italian food. The atmosphere is very good. Even it's busy you noticed only the family who works there. Sometimes a little bit chaotic but Italian. Beside the restaurant they have also a B&B. Looking over the vine yard. Very nice. The food is excellent. It's every time a pleasure to eat over there.

Very much enjoyed dining here. Excellent service, good Italian food and a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Credit cards not accepted but the owner kindly trusts his clientele to pay by bank transfer if they don't have enough cash. This kind of trust is rare to find these days. Bravo!

Derde keer bij I Bolognesi. Telkens weer buonissimo !!! Deze keer tagliatina van hert met gebakken aardappeltjes en een wijn uit Sardinië. Heerlijk !!! Zeer mooi pand, leuke bediening. Vorige keren pasta met zeevruchten en tagliata gegeten. Beiden ook zeer lekker.

Been a regular here since a few years. Tucked away in laid back Bocholt, where news seems to travel more slowly, rests this unusual family friendly restaurant with dishes from Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, Bocholt,... Try the White Fish in Bocholt Cheese or the Mexican Wrap and the home made ice cream. Limited wine selection with some very good affordable surprises.
