We have just been in for a meal with our family, and I ordered a jacket potato and the same for the son. His came and they had forgotten mine. This was fine and I understood, so they went to get me another (we had already waited around 30 mins) so around 10 mins later the lady brought over my plate. Which was half the size of my sons and had a lot less food on despite paying the same price! So my other half went to speak to the lady at the till and she said she would talk to her boss. By this point I was really hungry so began eating! My partner said he wanted a refund for the second meal as he felt it wasnât good enough. We went to speak to the lady at the counter again and she requested that my other half go down to the kitchen to talk to the chef/owner. Which he did and the owner/chef was unbelievably rude saying that there was nothing wrong with it etc and he would never issue a refund. That he has never had a complaint before... however his previous trip advisor reviews say differently! Eventually after having to show the owner our plate sizes he still flat out refused to even apologise. By this point and apology would have been enough, as he was arguing with a customer in public view in his restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the service level we received from the owner. It is crucial when running a restaurant that when a customer has a concern you listen to them and not just dismiss them. And you can say âthey are just awkward customersâ but howcome this restaurant has 3 other reviews exactly the same from 3 different people?! And I have NEVER once taken the time to poorly review a restaurant before until now.Hi , I am sorry to hear one of your potatoes smaller than the other potatoes but I canât do any thing about it , because of this matter I canât refund you .you have been waited about 23 minutes which is fair time to cook 4 people meal in from scratch ( ve Are only cooking fresh meal from scratch ) in very busy time ( when you have ordered your meal we were absolutely full and packed .) I was not been rude to you I have apologies and I explained to you kindly I am not measuring the potatoes before I am serving and I canât refund you and advice you if you would like to refund or not happy from your meal you should complain before you have eaten all of your meal not after you have eaten. This was our first visit and can honestly say from the moment we walked in the staff were fabulous, welcoming and had excellent customer service. We decided to choose the Pizza for Mains and one of our guests had the Aubergine Bake, the pizzas were as good if not better than the ones I have had in Italy. I am looking forward to visiting Nonno's again very soon.
