Argasi (Greek: Αργάσι) is a village and a community in the southern part of the island of Zakynthos. It is part of the municipal unit of Zakynthos (city). In 2011 its population was 639 for the village and 1,266 for the community, including the village Kalliteros. It is situated on the east coast of the island, at the northwestern foot of the hill Skopos. It is 3 km southeast of Zakynthos city and 3 km northeast of Kalamaki. Argasi is a popular beach resort.

I have spent a lot of time in Greece, preferring village tavernas than places in busy resorts, however Mikri Dafni saves you the trip...I am drawn back here, as the various meat dishes cooked on the spit (some for hours) are of the highest quality and extremely tasty. I can also highly recommend the Greek Pizza - oozing with quality Feta and Kalamata olives, the amazing rack of lamb (nothing like in the UK), Gyros Pitta, feta in the oven , great Saganaki and THE best Kontosouvli.A family run place, with a friendly cosy feel, very well priced, using quality ingredients and products, with an attentive (just catch their eye) service. Lots of returning customer, popular with lots of nationalities, couples, solo travellers and groups, all enjoying the great food, atmosphere and ambience... Yammas!

We have been visiting Waves for the last 23yrs and we know that the welcome will always be a warm one . Denny makes everybody welcome and looks after all his customers. The food is all fresh and so tasty , it doesn't matter what you order , it will be fantastic. The sunbeds are free and really comfortable too . A must visit if you are going to Argassi . Yamas .

We literally stumbled on the place after we settled with our bags in the hotel and hungry and tired we found Ethnic. The food is unbelievable and we befriended Jack and his mum, brother and aunt all working together. We pretty much went every night after that and recommend the ribs both pork and lamb, chicken, the chicken wrapped in lamb and the kebabs. They are warm friendly and lovely company and Jack (aka Bradley Cooper lookalike) made us the godfather cocktail our fav and pink pina colada very nice. In the end we started preordering the slow cook ribs because they sell out fast but they went above and beyond to make it special.

Came here 2 years ago and chose it as our last night restaurant and for that it means we have been and thought it was the best . Still canât fault it , nice atmosphere, delicious plentiful food and a free desert at the end to our surprise this time , yum . You wonât leave hungry or disappointed with a vast menu choice .

To be honest the reason we called in here is cos it started to rain......and then I saw the size of the pizza (it was lunch)My wife had a Greek salad and I had a pizza and it was a lovely meal with a view........called in a couple of evenings later and again the food was great......I would recommend

We went here most days for a drink was very popular. The staff are very friendly. We had lunch one day which was very good. You can stay all day they have lovely sunbeds and a pool all you have to do is buy drinks and if you want food. Some people in our hotel used to go for breakfast they were really impressed with the food. They also do food of an evening.

This place is making a serious attempt to serve gourmet food, but misses the opportunity to deliver perhaps due to over complicating simple dishes. The service is amazing, the dinnerware and tables are top notch but their cooking needs simplification. However, they make great cocktails.

We got turned away by one restaurant because they were full, were so glad they did, we ate 4 times here we even spent our 25th wedding anniversary here, I cant fault anything the food was awesome, as my wife said to the owner , made with love. its family run, the owner made time to speak all his quests, id like to wish them all the best for the future, keep up the great work. we will be back one day.

Food here was stunning. I'm aware that the owners have another restaurant in Zante town and this was very different to other food in Alykanas. You can tell how much thought has gone into making their menu a little bit different from everyone else's in the resort. As far as the food itself goes, up there with the best I've ever eaten in Zakynthos. Also I absolutely love the decor and the mood music they play. Makes it stand out from every other restaurant around. It's really impressive.The only downsides would be that the service was a little bit on the slow side, particularly given that there was only one other table occupied when we were there. Also, it's significantly more expensive than pretty much any other restaurant in the resort. â¬52 for two starters, two mains, a bottle of house white and a large bottle of water.We'd certainly visit again as the food is beautiful, but think the price may put people off.

If you are looking for a small piece of heaven...you can find it in Porto Kaminia beach bar. Excellent food, kind and warm staff. Sunbeads and shades are free of charge. Sandy beach, as well as grass area. Also great for kids, for they offer a playground as well.Thank you very much Aleksandar!
