A Saturday afternoon menu del fin de semana, 14 euros for 4 courses including wine. Excellent soup, a very good salad, a good slab of fresh fish and a delicious pudding. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, as price/quality ratios go, you would be hard pushed to find better.

Llegábamos a Almansa justos de hora para comer. Nunca habÃamos venido, y al ver en su cartel: tenemos opciones veganas, ni lo pensamos! (Es muuuuy difÃcil encontrar en una zona tan carnÃvora algo asÃ).Un menú de entrante, principal, postre y bebida con un toque italiano delicioso. Las cantidades adecuadas, la calidad muy buena y el postre... espectacular. Empezamos por dos ensaladas: una cesar y una de mozzarella, seguimos con una pechuga en salsa de champiñones y un arroz negro con verduras, y para cerrar, panna cotta y brownie. Todo, con su bebida, 10â¬. Además el camarero muy atento, se le notaba trabajando a gusto, explicando cada plato, recomendando... muy bien!Felicidades a la cocinera y a nuestro camarero! Gracias por una comida muuuuy agradable y deliciosa.

Rarely have we had such an excellent meal in a Spanish Tapas restaurant. The establishment appeared newly refurbished and is located in Almansa town square with plenty of free public parking nearby. We booked a table for 8 pm when the food becomes available for the evening and it was a good move since the place was packed much of the time we were there. There is a wide range of drinks available including beers, specialist beers and an extensive wine menu. The food menu is enormous with a large range of tapas and larger meals including desserts. There were 4 of us and we ordered a selection of tapas to start with followed by a main meal each, desserts and coffee.The food was served efficiently and appeared to be cooked fresh by an excellent chef. The dishes were often unusual but all tasted excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The mains were generous and the dessert menu was extensive with many unusual choices. The ambiance was very pleasant and there was plenty of seating inside on two levels. Wheel chair users were well catered for as were vegetarian clients. What a fabulous evening out!

This restaurant is not in Almansa, itself, but on a service road, along the ring road heading towards Yecla. We were stopping for lunch and, had the first restaurant on the service road been open we would never have entertained it, since the frontage is pretty modern and uninviting. However, the décor of the inside is very typically Spanish and there are several dining areas. We arrived a little before the usual lunch time, but we were attended to very promptly and didn't seem to have to wait long for our meal. It was an extra bonus to find several options for vegetarians and we chose the leek and Roquefort 'cake', which was delicious and a very fresh and varied salad. Our friend was more than happy with her calamari, which was cooked to perfection. A lovely change from the tired old menus-del-dÃas. Prices were very reasonable, waiting staff very pleasant and almost as important as anything else, the toilets were spotless! Don't be put off by the frontage, it's well worth a stop, if you're en route, that way.

What a total surprise. This is the sort of restaurant that I love to eat in when I'm in Spain. It focuses on excellent produce cooked and presented simply, the produce speaks for itself.There is an old world feel to the dining room, dark wood & linen table clothes. Wood & linen aside, everything else was first class, the food, the staff & the wine. At lunch there was no spare tables in the dining room & the bar was standing room only.
