Delicious! I would go back if you asked me, the food was absolutely amazing. It was definitely more expensive than we expected though so maybe go for a special occasion. Also a little bit annoying they gave us a shot of some yummy coconut local drink, but didnât ask us they just put it in front of us and said âour local drinkâ. So obviously we took it thinking it was just included, but then they charged us like $10 for it, lol. Not the end of the world, but annoying. Lol their food makes up for it 100% though

Normal bar and average food. Go here for the fire dancers and the views. There are much better places to eat and drink on the beach but it isn't bad. It's just normal.Hola!! Thank you for taking a minute to leave your comments. It would have been a bit more helpful if you expressed what your idea of normal/outstanding is. We aim to be consistently different from the other businesses surrounding us and most agree that we are. Our pricing is fair considering every almost every provider has a monopoly on their products. We were here 3 times during our 4 days. The chicken stew with rice and beans and plantain was the best I've ever had. The tuna bowl was delicious and the fish tacos was so fresh! And the dining area is nice place to just relax. Very delicious and well priced.

We read countless reviews on this place, I believe it is considered to be the #7th best place to eat in Tamarindo. This could not be FURTHER from the truth. To begin, the service. We were a group of four and there was already a couple there having a drink. We ordered four drinks and all ordered nachos. It took roughly 10-15 minutes just to get our drinks. The drinks were so bad we could not even finish them. When one person in our group asked for a new drink since theirs was undrinkable the service responded in a rude manor. We all ordered chicken nachos. They were covered with a mountain of nachos. There was an extremely small amount of chicken, beans, and cheese. 90% of the nachos was pico. The entire experience was weird. The place looks filthy and bugs flew all over us during our entire meal. I would say Iâm not sure why there are hundred of positive reviews we were completely dumbfounded when we showed up.

Some of the best empanadas we've had in all our Latin American travels. Made fresh daily, the pollo(chicken) and carne(beef) are huge and stuffed to the max. We carried a steaming bag of goodness back to our cabina every time we passed the place. Awesome fresh but just as good for the late night munchies or the next morning for breakfast.Tip of the Day.. Pick up a few for the plane trip home(and a small bottle(100ml) of Lizano from the mercado around the corner), watch the faces of other passengers as you gorge on fresh(more or less) baked empanadas while they choke down days old dry airline sandwiches and wraps..Pura vida amigos,,

I have been coming to Tamarindo for the last ten years. At first there was no place to get a good steak until the Patagonia opened about 5 years ago. Now It's a place I might return twice during my 1 week stay. I enjoy the Sangria and a Strip Steak.

The food is fantastic! Had the gallo pinto, the typical Costa Rican meal and it was perfect! The homemade bread is fantastic, daughter asked if we could buy a whole loaf. The avocado toast, best we have ever had. And the lemonade, wow!!! Everything was wonderful and we are so glad we found this place! Loved it so much I went here twice during my week in Tamarindo. Excellent for solo diners as you can sit at the bar and the portion sizes are just right.
