Came here with 5 others on a Friday night and the restaurant were kind enough to put together three tables even though they had limited seating as it is more of a fast food/takeaway joint and was pretty full at 7:30pm. As I am pregnant, I ordered a cooked item of beef ramen which although I requested it to be not spicy, was still quite spicy. The noodles tasted like 2 minute noodles and the broth was less than impressive. I noticed however that the sushi and sashimi dishes that others ordered looked extremely fresh and well presented, so think that this is what this restaurant specialises in, rather than cooked food. This is probably also reflected in their menu, as most of the menu items were sushi/sashimi or bento boxes (which are pretty good value for dinner).I was also impressed by the number of staff they had rostered, which indicated that most of their food is hand prepared fresh to order.We didn't realise they closed at 9pm and hastily made our exit when they very politely gave us the bill at 9:20pm.If I were to come here again, I'd definitely come here not pregnant and order a bento with sashimi!

Food was very good - especially the sizzling salmon. Decore was clean but ordinary. Steel chopsticks was an unusual addition. Unfortunately, the waitress kept trying to take our plates from the previous course away (although we hadn't finished it). I refused, but one time when my mouth was full, she snatched it away. I quickly swallowed and called after her but she kept going. Spoilt a good meal. If you go, hold on to your plates!

Went with 15 people and the food was excellent, fresh and very reasonably priced. We were asked if we wished to pay separately, which we did. Everybody ordered and paid at the desk; how civilised. The food came quickly and all our orders were correct. Can't wait to go to this restaurant again. The ambience of Komichi was great too.

Dropped in for diner and the food was was tasty, well presented and was delivered quickly.The only downside was they didn't supply a plate eat over, so you had to take food off the dish in the middle of the table and get it to your mouth without mishap. I'm not bad with chopsticks but it took the edge of an otherwise pleasant dining experience.I would certainly return.l

When I was little my mum would always take me to the branch in Hornsby and it was such a treat; every Friday afternoon I'd get Tokyo Ramen and it was so exciting. I'm 16 now and I still love it just as much. I go multiple times a week to the branch in Macquarie Centre with friends, by myself, or with my mum. The service is great (and a lot of them recognise me now) and the food is amazing; cooked really fast and fresh, and top quality. It's been my favourite restaurant ever since I was born and will continue to be until the day I die. Would recommend to everyone, of all ages. Cheap, too.
