We were on our way to Villa Blanca in the Los Angeles Cloud Forest and came across this intriguing corner restaurant that looked nice, friendly and had sushi! We were super hungry and loved our meals. Delicious fresh, well-presented sushi, creative salads and tasty chicken skewers. Very nice staff and the TV was playing concerts of famous Italian Operatic Tenors-- what a treat! Strange but awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very impressive for San Ramón and definitely gives the Central Valley sushi restaurants a run for their money. We will be back!

This place rocks! The tempora is excellent and crispy and cooked perfectly. Service was good and the ambiance was right. The prices are way lower than the other Japanese restaurant in town and the food was fresh and lunch was super. I highly recommend this restaurant.

In my opinion, Kami sushi looks more like a take out sushi counter with just 3 tables for those who elect to eat on site than a formal traditional Japanese restaurant. Regardless, since it was just me and my wife, we decided to eat in. They are specialized in sushi rolls combinations. However, my miso soup and my wife’s tempura were both outstanding. The prices are really reasonable. No Sake or any wine. I had to go and buy a bottle of wine and do “bring your owe wine” concept. The waitress was very kind.
