Remember when sushi train started in Surfers Paradise and it is still may favourite place for a fast sushi fix. The Biggera Waters Restaurant Biggera Waters offers like in all other Sushi Traines a great variety of sushi plates including rice bows. Great taste and the food is always fresh and well presented. Staff are great and very attentive.

Four of us decided to dine here (bookings essential) on Saturday night. They have two set menus for two or more people. ($75 or $90 per person) They actually let two of us pick one set menu and the other two picked the other menu. The food was amazing and plenty of it. They also have a huge range of Japanese whiskies. We came here for dinner twice whilst staying at the resort. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. We booked Teppanyaki for the second night, and would highly recommend doing so - what an experience. We chose the 'Akane' set menu - highlights were the chicken thigh (perfectly cooked), and the pumpkin miso custard. We don't eat rice, so they happily allowed us to swap our fried rice for edamame. Our visit, as a group of six, was based on Trip Advisor reviews, convenience for the group and price.For me the restaurant bought back old memories as it was once an Italian 20 odd years ago.The furniture has changed over the years and the current owners will hopefully forgive me when mentioning that a uniform choice of chairs would not go amiss. At our table we had a selection of chairs, some hard and some padded, the latter looking as though they had definitely seen some wear and tear! Whilst most air conditioners have an outlet to dispel water this one had a large bucket on the floor!Apart from the furniture and the bucket most everything else was very favourable. A warm welcome was extended, service was excellent and the food was freshly prepared, plentiful and we all enjoyed it.The restaurant is licenced with a limited selection of wine. We bought our own. Beer is not byo.This is a great venue to get together with friends and our party of 6 went away after paying only $25 per head. Very, very good value. Would we go back.... yes!Thank you for coming to our restaurant. We are very happy to hear that you looks like you had wonderful time at our restaurant.We are looking forward to seeing you again someday.

We had a visitor from down south - Melbourne, and we always bring visitors here.Edgar is always welcoming and Gavin is usually our chef. The soup is hot and delicious, the salad has the most amazing dressing - would love to steal it. The meat is always cooked as requested. Sauces yummo. The show is entertaining, and the service from the girls is top notch. The chefs are artists with salt on the hot plate at the end of the meal. Just wait. It's amazing. It is licenced and BYO wine, which I love. For the price and variety I love visiting here for lunch.In fact, I have booked my sisters 50th in the next few weeks.
