It's modern new restaurant located on Tsentralnii avenue and Soborna st. Design is modern and nice, tablets and chairs are comfortable and clean. It has kids corner. We ordered salad, ice cream, coffee. Everything was fresh, prices are ok. Seems that waiter hadn't enough experience in menu, staff need more training.

I was looking for options to have my dinner, after checking in at around 18 in the next door hotel (Admiral Greig), but most options were at least 1-2 km away. I decided to try my luck in the entertainment complex known as Shtorm. In addition to a restaurant, there is also a bar, bowling hall and nightclub here. The restaurant is right in the action of the bowling hall, so I imagine it can be noisy at times, but it did not bother me, as I was happy to get a filling evening meal.The interior is almost over-the-top maritime with lots of pictures, ship models, uniforms, a huge compass in the ceiling etc, but it is all quite fun and unusual, although Mykolaiv was known as a shipbuilding city and important port during Soviet times. Even the menu is called 'Ship's Journal' - and yes they do have a full English menu, although the staff speak very little English. But if you go to Mykolaiv, you should be expected to know more than a single language ;)Wait staff also wear maritime uniforms, it is quite neat :)The menu is huge and I had a hard time deciding what to choose, but I went for some favourites, as they usually work well: Caesar salad, borsch, and a pork dish with mushroom sauce and pan fried potatoes with onion as a side dish.All accompanied by a nice glass of quite local Chardonnay, and in the heat, the cooled white wine was a godsend.I even got a wet cloth for hands and face wash, which also felt very good after the sweaty bus trip and 30 C in the city.There were tiny flies buzzing around, and they did not want to leave me alone, so it was a bit irritating - then one decided to take a bath in my wine. As I tried to fish it up, the waiter saw it and asked if something was wrong. I was able to explain the situation, and he brought me a full new glass at no extra charge. Now THAT is what I call good service - and this together with the lovely cloth deserves an extra star alone, as it is something I would not expect, especially in this part of the world.I was also satisfied with my food, nothing was untouched by me, and my second meal since (late) breakfast really filled me up and made me a happy bunny for the remainder of the evening - and I had enough energy from it to go for a walk to and in the pedestrian area of Soborna street.

Very good food and good service on a busy night! The food was very fresh and many items on menu that are not only oriental. The surroundings are great for friends or business to meet.

I took 2 times Sushi from Doshi Doshi and i can say that is very delicious with very good prices. They have also very good offers. I recommend this place for Sushi in Nikolaev, its most preferable to take it away to home, but also you can sit and eat. Value for money Sushi place in Nikolaev!

Nice place [club type] to enjoy a cocktail...or two. They also do food here, of course. Comfy sofas to sit on upstairs. We tried one cocktail made with fresh fruit juice and prosecco [French or Italian, the waiter told us] which turned out to be very good indeed. The place has several levels, so they give you a portable bell if you want something else to order. Next visit I will test the food here...

Huge menu and high quality in almost all dishes. Very affordable too and a decent selection of wines, service quite good by ukrainian std . The place and decoration is great too, feels very good. Recommended.
