We arrived 3 hours later than expected in Montelimar due to very heavy motorway traffic and we needed something quick and filling after a day on the road.We drove into the centre of town but it was deserted and the restaurant that had been recommended to us was empty so we decided to give that a miss. We had driven past Gambas Royal on our way to town from our hotel and so we decided to go back there. Whilst Chinese buffet meals are not our preferred choice we were very pleased that we had come here.The choice was astounding and fresh and being constantly replenished. Pork, beef, prawns, squid, frogs legs, fish, salmon the list went on and on. There were also oysters, various shellfish, an incredible spread.For those who wanted their food freshly cooked there was also a large selection of raw meats, fish, vegetables etc that you could load onto a plate and then get it cooked.What surprised and pleased us was that despite the volume on offer the quality did not suffer, it was thoroughly enjoyable and absolutely fantastic value for money.The place was very busy and it's easy to understand why.

Went here for dinner on Sunday evening on arrival in Montelimar - a good choice! After ordering drinks and while waiting for our sushi, we were served with some miso soup and taste of salad. Very polite and helpful waitress. There are tables both inside and outside and there were customers who had ordered take out meals as well. Excellent sushi (the sushi boat/bateau for two people was more than we could eat!), and the waitress asked if we would like to take it with us, which we accepted. She carefully boxed up our remaining sushi for us to take home. For two people, including beed, a kir royale and water the cost was 60euros,but obviously the price will vary according to how many different sushi items are ordered.

Petit restaurant près du théâtre, l'accueil est agréable et le service rapide et souriant. Les sushis et autres sashimis sont faits à la demande... Et délicieux. Pas de vin à la carte, juste des bières !

This buffet is certain to meet the interests and needs of people with a "discerning palate"!!The variety is very substantial- including specialities of many countries in SE Asia, Japan as well as different regions of China.The presentation of the food is also enticing!

cheap meals, but smelly all over the dining area because extractor above the cooking place off most of the time, a variety of apetizers before main dish, some of them nicer than others... and my main dish: beef curry, rice oversteamed and meat well too spicy.. nice selection of cakes, not really Japanese but nice.
