前沢牛のすき焼きをランチで食べました。奮発しました。でもその価値はあると思います。テーブルのほか、小上がり席もあり、靴を脱いでリラックスしたい人にも向いています。牛肉はもちろんおいしかったですが、一の関はおもちでも有名だそうで、郷土料理だというゴボウを使ったタレに絡めたおもちを食べました。

花巻に行く途中一関で途中下車して食べに行きました。入り口は魚屋さんです。中に入り暖簾をくぐると、約300年位昔の蔵をお食事処として使用しているお部屋があります。大きな岩ガキと、連れは「鰻丼」・私は「海鮮丼」を注文しました。この海鮮丼が絶品でした。新鮮な魚介がいっぱい乗っていて、ご飯が無くなってもまだお刺身が残っている状態でした。電車の時間を気にしながらの食事でしたが、ここに寄って良かったとホントに満足しました。地元のテレビ取材もあったようです。

一ノ関駅から近く日本酒が50種類以上あるので日本酒好きにはお勧め。また、魚料理も豊富で値段もリーズナブル。私たちは、8月初旬に行ったので予約無しで入れたが、確実に行きたければ予約をお勧めする。

懐かしい郷土料理の一口餅膳を頂きたく訪れました。おもてなし膳を一人5,000円でお願いしました。一口餅膳のみならず、ご主人が山に採りに行ってくださった山菜、本マグロの刺身等々、とても満足な一時を楽しめました。一ノ関駅から直ぐのお店予約が無難ですね。

Ichinoseki is a convenient base for exploring the Hiraizumi area, but there are few restaurants near the train station. I wandered into this and found it quite pleasant. The menu (an English-language one is available) featured everyday dishes such a donburi (rice bowls topped with various meat or other choices), tempura and soba, with prices mostly in the 800-2000 yen range (more for eel).As you exit the train station, look across the plaza to the far right corner. Look for shoji paper screens in the windows and the little white sign.

かねてから行ってみたかった格之進。気合いを入れて開店の5時に予約を入れてしまう。メニューを見ると、何タイプか盛り合わせセットがあるので3種類、とりあえず頼んでみる。それが結果としてはそのおかげで、普段はあまり食べることのなかったモモ肉などを食べることに。霜降りのものもあれば、赤身を味わえるもの、色々とバランス良く食べられて楽しめました。

I went to visit the president of the company (a social call, and not for business) and he bought me the mochi lunch. Ten different preparations of mochi and each was delicious. If you're not used to natto, watch out for that one, but the rest are probably fine for anyone.And there's a brewery in the back so try one of the beers made here too.The weird thing was one of the nine bowls had a stick in it. If you found it on the first try you were supposed to have good luck today, second means tomorrow, etc.
