花巻温泉の千秋閣に宿泊して夕食は隣接しているホテル花巻にある和食処の羽山でしました、天ぷらなど出来立ての料理を出してもらいました、幅広のそばが出ましたが私の口には合いませんでした。

昔ながらの蕎麦屋です。マルカンとは客層が被らないと思いますし、雰囲気も違います。蕎麦よりもつゆが美味しいのは驚きでしたが、つゆを少なめにつけるのが好きな人には蕎麦の味が弱く感じられるかもしれません。

ケンミンショーでお馴染み岩手のソウルフード。国道４号公設市場西に曲がること２００ｍほど。お盆明けの土曜昼下がり訪問。県外ナンバー含め店外待ち数名と大盛況。夏季限定の冷やし満州にらラーメン７００円は通常版より１００円割高。半ライス１１０円。冷やしが効いている分辛さはありませんが、この日はトッピング具材がショッパ過ぎて真夏の塩分補給を加味しても完食完飲レベルには至りませんでした。

花巻でジンギスカンなら迷わずここでしょう。安くてボリュームたっぷり、肉も臭みなく美味しい。おろしにんにくをたっぷりつけるとうまさ倍増です。予約した方が無難です。

Having a soba speed eating competition for lunch is a unique experience. For an enjoyable experience, however, I would recommend skipping the wanko soba challenge and instead ordering the normal soba, with the duck soba being especially delicious.

The fare is unremarkable, simple and competitively priced with other noodle shops. I don't recommend it unless you are just coming for a bath and need something to eat afterwards, or if you are staying at the jisuibu and want a change from cooking your own meals.

At Yabuya main shop, you can challenge how many bowls of Soba noodle you can eat. Wanko-Soba is a mouthful Soba noodle in a bowl and peoples are competingin terms of number of bowls consumed. A volume of noodle in bowl is a little, but to bethe grand champion at the Wanko-Soba competition to be held annualy you must eatover 200 bowls. It is roughly over the standard volume for 20 peoples.After trial at Yabuya, they will issue the certificate of number of bowls consumed whichshould be interesting. Wanko-Soba is famous and only available in Morioka prefecture.Average is about 50 for male and 40 for female.

新花巻駅の前にある食堂。泣いても笑っても駅ナカにある立ち食いそばかまともな食堂はここ一軒のみです。予約制でわんこそばもやっているようです。今回カツ丼セットを頂きました。カツが少なくセットのそばもわんこそばの1-2杯分と極僅かです。
