We dined at Tsunami Ko - Teppanyaki Restaurant. Definitely not!We sat around the table to watch the chef cook. Nice select from the menu of vegetarian, chicken, beef and seafood to choose from. Chef started the cooking with lighting the hot plate on fire.Thatâs the end of it. Rest of the food were all cooked together and served on a plate. Not what I experience normally at A Teppanyaki restaurant. Food is usually cooked in front of you, 1 item at a time so that is can be eaten hot. It can be a show too. - chef demonstrating their skills in tossing the utensils to show some flare.Food was ordinary for the price, average $50 per set menu. Go somewhere else! Try Nobu at Crown.Service was also poor. Did not take any pictures - donât border.Hi Patrick.We're disappointed you didn't enjoy your experience. The majority of people do. Nobu is $120 per person for the cheap menu and $188 for the better one so I guess it could be expected to be better. One would hope so at that price. Although many people have said ours was better. Just saying ...Regarding the show, Jaymon usually does a spatula show and writes happy birthday in sale upside down if it's your birthday. He will do onion volcano, egg tossing etc if he is asked. Perhaps you came on a busy nWe have special omakase menus available also at that price range. Perhaps it would be more fair to compare those with Nobu.Our beef is all Wagyu with the majority sourced direct from the farmer, Mayura Station, in South Australia. They consistantly win awards for best producer in Australia.

We were lucky enough to get a table at Marumo as we were originally on the waiting list and it didn't disappoint! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Tables book out well in advance and we could see why.

Magnificent spring rolls....their Japanese take and improvement on a Chinese favourite reflects history itself. Fresh and packed with flavour. Never mind one, eating just two is impossible. Their Ramen is to die for and all made fresh and quickly on the premises. You can dine in but it isn't strictly set up for that.

Great setting Great food Great StaffI have been visiting Sado Island since they began in Subiaco and then after their move to Claremont.Simple but friendly ambience and great staff, it goes with out saying great service, Sado Island remains one of my favourites. The food is delightful and many a family dinner has been enjoyed there. The people who run this place are extraordinary, and the patronage reflects that.
