Tables not cleaned. After we sat it took an hour to take our order, then another hour for the food to arrive. Food fair. Overall a painful experience as we were traveling with three young children.Siamo veramente dispiaciuti per l'inconveniente successo.Non sappiamo esattamente in quale giorno Lei è stato da noi, ma crediamo sia il 31 marzo, giorno di forte vento, quando il personale addetto al servizio non è riuscito a salire in quanto avevamo chiuso temporaneamente la cabinovia nella tarda mattinata.Probabilmente si è accomodati in un tavolo non ancora sprecchiato e non risulta facile, quando c'è molta gente, individuare se il Cliente ha terminato il pranzo o se deve ancora ordinare.Ci scusiamo vivamente per l'inconveniente verificato a Lei e alla Sua famiglia e La invitiamo a tornare per constatare che il nostro modo di lavorare e di trattare i Clienti e sempre attento, pulito e veloce, in quanto sappiamo che il Cliente soprattutto nella stagione invernale necessità di un servizio rapido.Saluti.

What a fantastic little place for wine and typical Valle D'Aostana food. We popped in for some wine and had great service and real passion for the product from the staff. Well worth a visit for some lovely wines and excellent service

The place is beautiful and inviting. The service is fine. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The problem is with the food. It started really well: We had a reasonable risotto and a really good artichoke flan. The main courses were the main problem: we ordered two fillet steaks, the trio of meat (boar, deer and sausage) and the lamp chops. The fillets were good but undercooked compared to our request, even after returning them for further cooking. The trio and the lamb were very basic. Similar to taste of meat that you cook at home. The deserts were nice. Mont Blanc and dow with apples and zabayone like cream. It was a pleasant dinner but nothing to write home about. If you're around - make sure to go to the Foyer des Guides

Stopped in this small unpretentious trattoria on our way and weâre very pleased. The menu is short and served in a quickly and friendly manner. What we tasted was simply good, made of excellent local products and the bill very soft. It would be unreasonable to ask for more! The small outside terrace was perfect too.

This is what I call 'real' local cuisine and even as a family with Italian blood running in our veins we needed to adjust our expectations. It is what some reviewer said as 'too authentic'. You really need to like local cuisine to enjoy it.But once we got in the swing of it, it was really good. Food was a bit unfamiliar but we got stuck in and came away feeling satiated, having tried out new dishes as well, and drank some lovely wine. Raclette was a good choice for those less adventurous.We had a form of sgroppino (lemon sorbet, vodka) which was wicked and complimentary grappa too.

My mom and I visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch. There is a fixed menu and the food is served at a fixed time. We got the last table availble. For EUR32 we had about 10 appetizers, fresh ravioli filled with juniper and meat, polenta with fondu (incredible), beef with potatoes, a large platter of local cheeses, fresh gelato, digestive tea, and wine. All of the food was delicious but I especially loved the fondu, the salami in the appetizer, and the cheese platter. I am making this restaurant a destination on my "to come back to in the next year" list! WOW

We had a great diner. 6 courses and all home made. They made special dishes for our kids, we didn't have to ask they just knew what kids like! The room was nice and we sleep very well!!

We ate here several times during our stay in Aosta Valley. The food was excellent, presented in copper saucepans which we found unique. Service was professional and friendly. Menu featured typical dishes of the region. Good house wine and desserts.
