What to say.. Well I dined with a group of friends, we each ordered a different dish, mine was waygu and pork lasagne. It was devine! My initial impression was that the lasagne itself was too small, but it was so rich and tasty, that savouring it was preferable, and by the end, I realised it was the perfect serving size. We all had a panna cotta for dessert and it was great also. Highly recommend this place!

I came to waves on a Friday night to get a pizza, as some friends were having burgers at the place next door, was told there was a 50 min wait on pizza (I felt like they were almost expecting me to say don't worry about it). Went back in a few mins before my allocated time for my pizza being done and saw a family sit down inside eating their pizza out of the box. I have never seen so many staff begin sighing and rolling their eyes. Yes there were signs saying if you order a takeaway you need to leave the premises, but this family were clearly travelling from overseas. Waitress goes over and tells them to leave because they are not allowed to eat their pizza inside, no offer of giving them a plate and letting them stay. I thought the whole process was very rude.I received my pizza, it was probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Just make sure you call and order as a takeaway and avoid the moody staff.

Opened recently this new gelato restaurant offers an amazing array of home made gelato including vegan varieties. We have haven't been here several times trying to make our way through the different flavours and haven't had one we wouldn't have again. There coffee is also very good.If you are heading to the west coast be sure to drop in and treat yourself to a cup or cone of fantastic locally produced heaven.

Bubba is another one of these cheap pizza places. Cheap ingredients to make cheap pizzas. So don't expect much as you won't get much and won't pay much. This one does seem to give you more than the one in Grovedale. If you want something basic and don't want to spend much this maybe for you.

Woodfire Pizzas, had Aussie and Garlic Pizzas. Both were very thin, crispy and tasty, although the egg on the Aussie was still a bit wet (weirdly the white but the yoke was cooked though...). They brought water out straight away, pizzas took around 10 mins. Was pretty quiet as very early, service was good. Satisfied with our visit.

Had some very good Pizzas from here. And had some very bad pizzas from here. Seems to bit a lot of hit or miss depending on the day. If you get a good day the pizza is very nice. Thats about as good as it gets. Nothing fantastic .

Most restaurants were closed in Torquay due to Geelong Cup. We have been here many times and have enjoyed the food and ambience always. It was very busy. They found us table! We ordered a lasagne and spag with polpette (meatballs) and 2 glasses of house red. Both excellent. When it came time to pay the bill we discovered there was a surcharge for paying with a credit card and another because of the Geelong Cup Holiday. Not mentioned at all.... just appeared on the bill. Spoiled our dinner.Hi there Iâm sorry about this occasion and we will try to have a better sistem in place for public holiday so none of this occasion will occur again but we normally have a board stating it on the tillâsThank you for let us know and looking forward to hear if we can help you for something .Please donât hesitate to call us on 0342412008Regards Il matto Team
