Just returned from the worst pasta meal I have ever had. Figured we would try an all-you can-eat pasta special at Gregoryâs. First we were told there was no spaghetti and no meatballs; on a pasta night in an Italian restaurant, are you kidding me! The Pasta meals that we did order were tasteless. On the all-you-eat pasta night We were told over the phone that we could try a few different meals. When we tried to order a different meal it was an astounding NO says the owner/chef. DO NOT ORDER PASTA FROM THIS RESTAURANT! We will NEVER go back.

Got pizza delivered( paid by credit over the phone) and it was delivered pretty quickly. I have never seen such generous toppings. It would be a five, but the crust is a major player in pizza.. and it was so odd.. grooves on the bottom and droopy. At over 50 with tip.. It swings me into just ok

I own a food establishment on LBI so I was anxious to visit Surf City Hotel Bistro since new owners have taken over. I had heard both positive and some negative remarks and I thought, let's see for ourselves. We met two dear friends there at 7:00 p.m. for our reservations. We were promptly seated and although the restaurant was packed we were advised that our server would be with us in short order, which he was. We ordered drinks and an appetizer which came to the table in five minutes. The calamari was delicious and the drinks were great. We ordered various entrees, stuffed flounder, scallops, and salmon. Everything was prepared and plated perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed my flounder dish that was stuffed with an adequate, tasty amount of crabmeat. My wife and her friend said the scallops were done well. The young staff was caring and considerate. I would rate our meals a solid 10. I am glad to see the Surf City Hotel has hired a chef who gets it. We will return and wish the new owners the very best of lock!

We saw the BAKERY sign and stopped at Mario's. The bakery and Italian market are adjoined by an open doorway. This visit we stayed on the bakery side.The selection was limited but it is still pre-season. We selected a piece of raspberry crumb cake, a big cookie, and chocolate biscotti, all of which were very good.

All time favorite pizza place on the island. My brother eats the buffalo chicken pizza every day of our vacation. I admit that the buffalo chicken pizza is incredible. My place is about equidistant between Surf City Pizza and Panzones in Surf City. And both are in my rotation for take out Pizza.Surf city is usually right on the button when estimating how long it will take for the pie to be ready. I appreciate not having to wait too long once I get to the store and I donât have to here. The selection on the menu is pretty similar to most pizza places with subs, calzones, a bunch of fried stuff and of course, pizza. They make a traditional New York style pizza with a thin but chewy crust and plenty of nice sauce. The toppings are pretty traditional and you can pick a Pre-designed one or make your own. When you donât want to cook down the shore - dial up Surf City Pizza - youâll be happy you did

Raimondoâs~ what a great little gem on LBI. Friendly and attentive service~pretty atmosphere. The real reason to go here though is the food. It is beyond delicious. Visually stunning and perfectly cooked and seasoned tuna special, mushroom soup, wedge salad and chicken Marsala over fettuccine. Everything is cooked to order and they are happy to make adjustments. Will be back soon! And itâs BYOB!!
