This Place serves pizza of a different kind. Their are very small, but have a beautifully flavoured soft and quite high dough, and are nicely loaded but balanced with plenty of flavours. Since many years they have this special formula and it seems to work very well. If you are tired of oversized thin pizzas give this one a go - it will not disappoint and you don't feel stuffed either after this meal.

A simple place but yet an option to have a relaxed with non pretension home cooked meal. It's small, the menu have few options, pasta and pizza. I ordered a pizza margarita and it was good, thin, good taste, fresh ingredients. My friends ordered pasta and noquis and they said it was all good. It is very familiar, I noted tables and seats with games for kids, so I presume is a very good place for families with children.

The pizzas are fantastic and the service great even though slow at times because the restaurant is very popular. If you wish some special pizzas don't hesitate asking! If you come in a group ask for some starter plates. The staff is happy to support you with your choice of inexpensive wine that goes well with your food. We are going back regularly due to the good price vs. quality ratio.

The Wengihaus is just around the corner of our weekend house in the historic part of Solothurn. The pizzas are the best in town and following the era, named pure tradition of Naples.Pasta is also worth to try, you'll find Amatricana with real Mortadella, awesome!

This summer bar that sits on the Aare River that runs through Solothurn, Switzerland is a lovely way to enjoy a summer evening with some friends. A variety of drinks are available, but to try the local "Oufi" (Eleven) Solothurn Bier is recommended.

This is a nice Italian place, but don't expect to find pizza. It's a smaller menu than you may find in a pizza/pasta Italian restaurant, but they focus on quality and not quantity. I visited this restaurant for lunch with friends on a sunny Saturday. We sat in the covered terrace in front of the restaurant. With good weather, this would be a lovely option. Although we had all been in Solothurn for several years, none of us had eaten at this restaurant, though we always heard good things about it. I've seen it described as a chain in other reviews, but the menus at the other restaurants are not the same. Thus, I don't think it's a chain, just owned by the same company. The menu and food didn't seem chain-like to me. I had the ravioli allâarrabbiata and thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the spicy kick and I would definitely get it again. My friends' meals looked good too. I also had the tiramisu for dessert and enjoyed it as well. They shared some sort of biscotti that is dipped in a sweet wine. I had never heard of it before, but both of my friends are Italian and said it's a typical Italian dessert. It was definitely interesting. Prices are average for Switzerland with most mains between â¬25-40. Water seemed excessive though at nearly â¬10 for a liter. All in all, I will definitely visit again.
