The town's administration is run by the Seremban Municipal Council. On 9 September 2009, Seremban was to be declared as a city, but it was later deferred due to technical reasons. However, the idea of granting city status has been brought up again and Seremban is expected to become a city in 2019.

Jigger and Shaker in Sendayan D'Tempat has reasonably good ambiance with good food and drinks. I have visited this place many times. My vegetarian mother in law loves it my friends love the Guinness and my family love the food here. Over the years the service and the quality of food has been consistently good. The staff despite communication problems are excellent. Without foreigners no food business can flourish in Malaysia. My past 2 visits unfortunately has left me disappointed. The male toilet doors were unscrewed and imagine doing your business with practically no door. Toilets are never a priority in Malaysia but our mindset must change . Chefs must be monitored and must wear proper clothing so that foreign bodies like hair donât end up in the food.

What could you think of PO BOX ? Letters, perhaps. Then I checked it out with the owner and found out, it is meant for Pasta Only Box, a food stall in one of the Seremban Hawker Centre (N9 Hawker Centre) just opposite the Temiang Corner. Though they are in the hawker centre, they are very serious about the pasta. The menu is simple, just pasta, cream sauce, tomatoe sauce, aglio olio... and some local delights sauces. They used fresh ingredient, substantial portion, saucy and full with flavour. I tried their carbonara & rendang pastas,I must admitted that this is the best so far in Seremban yet with hawker centre prices, surprisingly authentic. Highly recommended to those who like pasta.
