I LOVED this restaurant. The owners were delightful and the food was fabulous. They speak English for all you Americans that love Italian food... I was in St. Polten for over a month and ate here many times and tried many different things. Never once was I disappointed. Authentic Italian and I think one of the best in St. Polten but it doesn't seem to get much press. I think Pepe Nero's is reasonably priced and is one of those hidden gems!

An attractive looking trattoria located just off the main square, Italian food is the speciality as might be deduced by itâs name, and we both opted for pizza. Unfortunately there was no English version of the menu available so it was a bit of guesswork as to what we ordered, but we ended up with a four cheese pizza and a ham, chilli & mushroom. Both were pretty good and generous portions. At â¬8.90 I thought they were good value. The only let down was the wine which was served far too warm.

Netter, gemütlicher Dorfgasthof mit guter Küche. Es werden super Pizzas geboten und diese gibt es auch, wenn man es möchte, glutenfrei.

I chose this restaurant for a solo dinner based on recommendations from Trip Advisor and it didnât disappoint.Staff kindly found me a table even through the restaurant was packed and offered me water, recommended a great Nero Davola (red wine) and provided a menu in both German and English.Service was quick and friendly and the food was tasty with a very generous serving size.I ordered a Calabrese pizza and managed to eat about half before I had to admit defeat. The food was fresh, delicious and authentically Italian.It was a busy restaurant with a warm, social atmosphere and itâs great whether youâre dining alone, with a friend/partner or with a group of people.If youâre in St Polten and enjoy Italian food La Dolce Vita is the place to go.
