sono stato allo Spiticchio diverse volte e mi son trovato sempre bene: di solito prendo il panino con le panelle belle calde fatte sul momento , oppure un bel panino con pancetta di maiale cotta al barbecue, ottimi sanwich...buona scelta di bibite fresche e birre..spettacolo !! ve lo consiglio vivamente se vi trovate a Paceco o in giro per Trapani...

very spacious restaurant with good food and a variety of items to choose from. Fresh fish available. We encountered 2 problems: waiters take long to serve us as they had all restaurant full. They where very very busy. all the time up and down the restaurant. I suggest that on weekend they increase staff. Another problem is that is was too noisy, with children running around. So don't expect to go there for a romantic dinner. There is a nice view during sunset. Its worth going. Make sure you have a GPS if you are not a local.

Il mio "spacciatore" di panelle preferito quando ritorno in Sicilia per l'estate. Il piccolo locale non rende merito al lavoro e alla passione dei proprietari. Ottimi piatti tipici dello street food siciliano preparati con amore e maestria. Servizio senza pretese,come si addice alla tipologia di locale, ma veloce e cortese. Piatti abbondanti a prezzi imbattibili. Superslurp!

Situated on the salt flats with views of the Erice mountain. This restaurant has a nice feel but food could be improved, some dishes were too salty. Service was somewhat offhand and we were not offered dessert or coffee. Portion sizes were ridiculously large. I do not understand why you would have a menu structured as antipasti, primi, descondi and dolci if each course is big enough to be a meal (food waste is a very bad thing), why not offer large and small portions oif each dish at different prices?. The caponata antipasta was enormous (and too salty) as was the busiate. If you do not like fish then you have very little choice on secondi (swordfish was not very memorable). The busiate trapanese was very good....but so much of it! Avoid the vino locale in carafes, it really is not good..although very cheap. Seems to do good business with coach parties at lunchtime.

We went for a mid-day meal and decided to relax because it was obviously so special. In fact, we had to rush our visit to Erice! but it was worth it. Great service, great recommendations and GREAT meal. Fish was amazing, pasta, specials. Ambiance comfortable and intimate. We agree, a jewel!

This is a good place to dine if you are really hungry and want to eat on a budget. The burgers were too salty for my taste. If you are using a GPS to find the place, be careful since there are two streets called via catalafimi. Make sure to choose the right street. Ample parking is available and it is free.
