The population in 2011 was 828 for the village and 854 for the community, which includes the village Frama. Its elevation is 10 m. Nea Skioni is located 7 km southwest of Chaniotis, 7 km west of Agia Paraskevi and 90 km southeast of Thessaloniki. It is named after the ancient city of Scione, whose site was nearby to the east.

We holiday in polichrono in July this was the first eating place we used what a find,the pizza were excellent ,they would make you any kind you wanted at no extra cost,they also had some lovely pasta dishes on the menu as well as cold beer ,what more could you want.

Second summer we have visited this lovely establishment,it was like returning home,made to feel like part of the family,couldn't do enough for us nothing was too much trouble,the food is delicious pizza to die for (massive) you need to share one,if you ever visit Kriopigi make Cassablanca your first stop the dynamic trio will make you very welcome,ask Edy to do his Greek dance P.s Good luck Edy on fatherhood(sleepless nights await)Dear EmmyWow we are all so very thrilled about your review thank you so so very much for coming time and time again to us that's so awesome it's our pleasure to have such fabulous guests we are so grateful for everything. Hidden away on a side street and definitely worth finding! We sat by a grass garden area which the kids enjoyed to play in whilst we waited for the food. Delicious fresh dough balls to start followed by the best pizza I have ever tasted!! The dough was fresh, light and scrumptious. Well topped pizzas with fresh ingredients. Looking forward to visiting again on our last night. Definitely my favourite restaurant in the area!

We paid one visit to this restaurant for a change and we're pleased enough with what was presented. We opted for standard pasta dishes and weren't disappointed. Good selection of Italian dishes that are priced reasonably backed up by a friendly staff that seemed genuinely in how things were. Worth a visit if you're visiting Pefkohori.

We have been going to this pizza place for years and it is always so delicious. The large pizza is massive and the crust and toppings are so tasty! It is always so busy because the food is so good and also well-priced. We highly recommend this place!

â¬2 for a large slice of take out pizza which is hand tossed in front of you, delicious on your way home from Hanioti square after a few drinks and a bit of shopping. The restaurant however we found to be lacking in the service department which meant we only ended up eating in once. It was busy but we were seated, waited an age for a menu and couldnât get anyone to bring our bill when finished. Definitely needs more staff as we didnât feel welcome or like valued customers. We ordered two pizzas to share and a Greek salad. The chilli pizza was a bit weird, cheese pizza but with chilli powder sprinkled on the top! Greek salad, lovely and pepperoni pizza tasty too. If weâd have had better service we may have eaten in there again although we did use the takeaway counter for the odd large slice.
