I happened to be craving pizza while at my hotel in the neighboring Mengede (a Dortmund suburb) and didn't want to leave the hotel anymore. The hotel does not serve pizza though, so I took it upon myself to have a pizza pie delivered through Lieferservice.de which is a site that has all German delivery restaurants combined.On my delivery request I had some specific instructions, to call in advance once the delivery guy left the restaurant as I would be waiting for him outside the hotel, and to have the pie sliced as I don't have a knife handy. As the address I entered the hotel address and as contact phonenumber my own, Dutch cellphone.As I can imagine they don't receive a request like mine every day, I decided to call in a couple of minutes after placing my order, to confirm the order. The friendly gentleman at the other side was able to have the conversation with me in English, which simplified things, and he confirmed he had read my instructions and would comply to them (how nice! A totally different experience from what I'm used to in Amsterdam, where special instructions are generally ignored.)The gentleman gave me an estimate of roughly 30 minutes.After some 15 minutes I received an in-app notification the delivery person had left the restaurant and I was to expect him in exactly 10 minutes. And they kept word: nine and a half minutes later the delivery guy came along driving his tiny car.I walked towards him stating: "Gotta love technology! Hahaha!" and we exchanged my money for his pizza.Back inside I checked the food (and ate it, obviously) and yes, nicely sliced and a perfectly delicious pizza! Brilliant!I know it's hard to think of this situation occurring for anyone else, however, if you are visiting or living in this area and crave pizza, have these guys come to your aid, they deserve it! Excellent!Rating: 4 out of 5, because the restaurant is only a delivery place. (I would rate it 5/5 if they also offered seating at the restaurant itself)

Nice restaurant full of Italian energy, what's really refreshing in really dull Lünen.Been there alone asking the owner to recommend me something fresh from menu. I got minestrone, which was very good just too salty for my taste and beef fillet with potatoes. Beef was very good prepared and perfectly grilled it just tasted strange. For desert I took pannacotta, which was just average.I would anyway visit this restaurant again and recommend it to you.

If you like upscale Italian Cuisine, like veal in tunafish sauce with capers, taglierini seafood or aubergine parmigiana you will not be disappointed. I have dined here for over twenty years whenever I travel to this area. The kitchen and service have never disappointed us. In the summer you can sit and dine under lo vely arbor outside.

From the moment my party and I entered the restaurant we were made to feel welcome by the exceptionally friendly staff. I was a little perturbed by the menu but received guidance in my selection from the staff, and I wasn't disappointed with the result.Another point to note is that my party comprised of people from several European countries and the staff were able to converse in English and Italian as well as German.
