Small restaurant with not so many dishes but you will taste something really good...Pasta with a real italian taste, without sophisticated creams or german additions...Really great is then the availability of italian wines, ask to Benito for some suggestion and you will be surprised! Right prices. Definitely suggested.

Its an excellent place to spend time with your friends and have dinner too. The views are great as it is on the banks of the Rhine river.There House wines are great. Service is a bit slow but who cares as the ambience is great and food to enjoy.

This little restaurant along the Rhine is a gem in Ludwigshafen. The restaurant is in a small building that shares space with a crew house. In warmer weather, it should be a lovey place to dine as there are many outdoor tables. Prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent, especially the starters. I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is rather small and popular. Excellent choice any time of year.

We went here for an early evening dinner, so we just had pizzas and a bottle of wine. The wine was good as were the pizzas really tasty. If you want a pizza in Lu then this is a good bet. The restaurant was more a café and a bit low on ambiance.

I ate here at least 5 times during a recent business trip to the area. It was within walking distance of my hotel. The menu was quite extensive, and was offered in English as well as in German. Every meal I had was excellent, and I believe, very reasonably priced for the large portions I received. The owner and staff were extremely friendly, and went out of their way to find me a table on a Saturday night when I had not made a reservation, and the place was packed. I tried a few other places in the area and kept coming back to this one. Just a good, solid dinner each time.

Since more than twenty years, the La Pineta is an excellent Italian cuisine restaurant. Whatever you choose - it's fresh and very tasty. Fresh fish, pasta and pizza belong to the menu, beside excellent vines.Also the terrace invites to have lunch or dinner. Highly recommended in Ludwigshafen!

This was a very long business dinner, but was quite enjoyable. We had a stream of antipasta coming to the table and all were excellent. Also, we each ordered an entree and everyone enjoyed. However, we did not have to order an entree, as we could have extended the antipasta. Coming from the States, I was delighted to find such a nice Italian restaurant with a German theme. The servers allowed for a lot of time for us to enjoy, but plan on a long evening.

Yesterday I spent a an evening with my wife and a friendly couple at family Montana`s italien Restaurant. We ordered Pasta Arrabbiata and some pizza.My wife is a fan of Angelo`s pizza.The pasta was so delicious that I want to tell it everybody.I can recommend this restaurant definitely.We will come back.......soon.

Bella Capri offers upscale Italian food, a great selection of wines, combined with very attentive service. The location is still with walking distance of the Rene-Bohn Hotel making it a good dinner option. I'd strongly recommend making a reservation though - its pretty booked on the weekends.

This place looked very promising, less formal and more fun than a more conservative Italian place a few doors down. The staff was very attentive initially, quickly taking drink orders and delivering a menu (in German only). Thanks to some photos on TripAdvisor, I was able to ask a few food questions which help decide what to order.A wonderful salad came quickly, but then it slowly the visit begin to fall apart. As the restaurant slowly cleared of customer so too did the staff, they disappeared! it took nearly 40 minutes for a pasta come out and only when I asked the staff about it. They forgot to fire the order?! They never came back to check on if everything was OK with the food or offer a second drink order. They were too busy polishing glasses behind the bar and cleaning silverware. Granted it was 21:30 and towards the end the night but this is inexcusable!What could've been five stars is now three.Lieber MattEs freut uns, dass Ihnen unser Unternehmen gefällt und sie zufrieden waren mit unseren Gerichten. Offenbar hat unser Service sie nicht zu 100% überzeugt, was uns leid tut.Vielleicht besuchen sie uns nochmals und geben unserem Service noch eine Chance.
