Long Island City (LIC) is the westernmost residential and commercial neighborhood of the New York City borough of Queens. LIC is noted for its rapid and ongoing residential growth and gentrification, its waterfront parks, and its thriving arts community. It is bordered by Astoria to the north; the East River to the west; Hazen Street, 49th Street, and New Calvary Cemetery in Sunnyside to the east; and Newtown Creek—which separates Queens from Greenpoint, Brooklyn—to the south. It originally was the seat of government of the Town of Newtown, and remains the largest neighborhood in Queens. The area is part of Queens Community Board 1, located north of the Queensboro Bridge and Queens Plaza; it is also of Queens Community Board 2 to the south.

Pizza, and panuozzi is what youâre there for. Super yummy. Buratta is great too. Great for a casual date or a family early dinner. Unassuming, oozing with authentic Italian flavor, great service.

It seems to have your typical Italian cuisine but look more closely, or better yet, ask your waiter. The off-menu dishes sometimes gravitate to the menu proper. Celebrating birthday for my daughter salmon dish was dry sea bass was also dry presentation and service was ok food pricey taste so so love salmon and sea bass this was on the lower end compare to other restaurants cocktails are $16 and small cup with mostly ice very disappointing valet parking is 10dollars no courtesy for eating at restaurant spending 400 dollars will not go back Maderas on Vernon is a much better choice all around

Amazing food and excellent service. The dishes are often simple with complex flavors and first class ingredients. The tutto crudo is delicious and the pastas are great. You will not be disappointed with any of the choices. The sommelier tended towards her favorites rather than listening to The customerâs preferences.

We were our for a quick easy dinner and found Norma. Professional servers, nice selection of appetizers including the nicest octopus capriccio I have had anywhere in years. Good wine selection (no hard liquor). Pizzas were exceptional. Coffee and dessert great too. Not cheap, but far from expensive. A little loud, but clean and upscale. I be back.

We walked here from our hotel to check it out. Wow, this food is great! And affordable. Their menu offers a lot. From chicken sandwiches and burgers to individual pizza slices or order a whole pizza. We got a couple meat Jamaican pockets. Those were excellent!! They have tables here if you want to eat in.

A friend of mine recommended SoleLuna about a month ago. I rarely frequent restaurants in Sunnyside, so this would be something different. I must say, I am glad a friend recommended this restaurant. The food and service were spectacular. The wine list is surprisingly very good with a fine variety of reds, whites and rose and sangria. The food was exceptional. It felt like we were eating homemade family made Italian Food. The staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs. Marcello, our server, went out of his way to please our party. Highly recommend. Give it a try
