This cafe serves the best Italian coffee in town and tasty choice of pizzas, breads and pastries which are the reasons that keep me coming back to this cafe. Furthermore, it comes with excellent service (the owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating), nice atmosphere and great location. Watch out for their tasty Tiramisu as it always running out of stock very quickly!I highly recommend this cafe!Thank you Audrey we have already ordered a cargo of 200 tons of Savoiardi (Lady Fingers) for your Tiramisù. It’s in amongst about a dozen restaurants on the waterfront and all basically accessible by walking through tables through each of the restaurants. Not a brilliant experience. Also, you’re crammed up against other restaurants, so the “ambience” is a tad mixed and to be fair, the smell of the sea isn’t the best either.Service was good but not excellent.Menu was ok, not brilliantly varied and your typical mix of pasta, pizza and other Italian come Spanish fare. The food quality was quite good and the drinks weren’t too bad either.Decent value as well, but a better menu choice, better lighting and better access would be needed to get to a 4 rating.I’m sure that there are better places on the front.

Very disappointed. We ordered a “Life is a Celebration” set dinner for 7 people. This restaurant didn’t serve like fine dining. Well, the waiters do have good altitude.1. Starting with our bread (2 choices)-BUT you are not allowed to choose what you want. The waiter said finished.2. Main course(Beef)- you are not allowed to choose your own preferences ( how you want your beef....). The waiter told me in this set dinner-all beef have to be well done. (Unbelievable! Beef lover-you know what I means)3. Dessert- most of our desserts came with “melting” ice-cream and different timing plus missing things for 2 people. (7 of us ordered the same desserts)I do understand “you get what you pay for..”I knew this is a set-dinner with cheap price RM140/ RM190(with flight wine). However, this fine dining is not what I expected like after reading all the reviews. Did I expected too much? Mmmm...Especially the writing plate for the surprise birthday cake! (Speechless) I FELT embarrassed to arrange this. ( Low standard white plate with the writing- Not like what I saw from other reviewers)

I have written many reviews, but I think this is my longest and most negative, so I apologise to readers in advance. We came here having read the Trip Advisor reviews and as it was one of the best rated restaurants in KK. Having read the reviews, I suspect I will receive some arrogant response from the owner. Positives: The quattro formaggi pizza was delicious. Great ingredients, well cooked, we loved it. The garlic bread was also very nice. Wonderful location, perfect for sunset.Negatives: The attitude of the man (the owner) who spoke to us when we arrived and when we had a query was rude and unprofessional. When asked if it was possible to order a pizza each (it is not, they only order in enough dough to allow one pizza between two) his reply may have said the word "sorry", but was in no way genuinely apologetic. When asked why he didn't order in more dough during this peak season when lots of people want pizza, his answer was snappy and illogical. His attitude was just generally appalling and he is exactly the type of bitter expat you try to avoid when living abroad. There was another westerner working in the restaurant who was wearing an old band's vest shirt and, I'm sorry, but if a Malaysian waiter turned up to work at a fairly expensive restaurant wearing that you would tell him to go home for looking unprofessional, so why is it okay for the westerner to look dishevelled? Also, I know it's a cultural thing, but the waitress suggested to ME that my wife should have a salad or pasta when I said we both wanted pizza. This place knows their location is fantastic and will always get customers because of that, but I was infuriated before our food ever arrived and will never go back. Totally agree on the fact that you wrote a negative long review perhaps full of hate and nonsense comments. Have personally came out of kitchen to explain the reason... but you insisted of understanding, were advising to do more dough (factory style) while I told you I was unable to deliver more than 30 pizaas at night due to variety of food on the menu. Not having the answer you expect makes you comment in such way which however I do accept… even though…nothing, even said upfront makes you understand! We don't order dough but we do produce daily every morning and we inform people like you that generally thanks God for the majority they understand. Siince you talk also about my personality, I rather suggest you to think about yourself as a bitter customer instead; nevertheless commenting on waiter clothing says really enough.Lastly to inform you that most of our weekly customers (majority locals) comes here for having good food!Location "plays" only during summer time for the 2 months of holiday giving perhaps sometime unfortunate meeting with stressed people like you that brings anger & revenge.

If you fancy pizza or pasta then here's your place on KK. Pizzas have a thin base and are as close as you'll get to traditionally Italian.Great taste too and reasonable. 12" could be shared between two. Casual atmosphere inside, busy when we went, people coming and going which was a good sign too. Service was very good also!
