Chizzo has recently reopened for the summer season for dinner and adapted the menu accordingly. Stephan graciously brought us to our table and provided his normal excellent service. He is well known in the restaurant industry for a reason.The new owners continue to improve this special dining location with the upgraded patio seating which accomodates all table sizes...from intimate to corporate dinners. This was the only place in Kitzbuhel that I was really happy with the service. Very friendly, people were smiling, working fast, giving good recommendations. The food was fine too, and the place felt quite warm and pleasant. Nothing extraordinary but very decent level. We got to Kitzbuhl in the evening, it got late and we were hungry & tired. We fantasized of a typical local food, but Don Luigy was close and promising. Eventualy it also delivered. We enjoyed an Italian style Pizza, very good, spiced with a warm hospitality. we liked it.

Nice location. Food standard and ok. Carafe of Chianti surprisingly good. Service unsurprisingly bad. Classic Italian in Germany/Austria. Fun as long as you know that care, smiles and service are not included, in fact impossible. Felt like interrupting my daughter in the middle of an iPad tantrum. Nothing else exists. And parents (ie customers) are superfluous at best and irritating in the extreme. Who pays does not enter the consciousness. But extra carafe of chianti cures all. Buon Anno.

Smallish coffee shop in central area. With luck we found a free parking spot in front of the coffee shop. Friendly service . Basic setup. Disappointingly no oat milk. No WiFi.

We've celebrated my wife's birthday on Friday evening and it's been a memorable night. Unique location, combining the rustic mountain atmosphere with impeccable elegance and quality service to create a cozy, warm and pleasant atmosphere. The Italian chef creates wonderful, tasty dishes, combining original appetizers, pasta, fish and meat. Selection of wines is excellent. A special mention for Ramon and Rayssa, the musicians who entertained the clients throughout the evening with their exquisite music and songs. Special thanks also to Renato, the maitre, whose ability in organizing the rooms and managing the staff waiters at the tables is unique and unmatchable

We have not had a finer Italian/Tuscan dinner anywhere. Everything homemade. The breads were tasty, especially the olive bread. The olive oil was wonderful, so fresh, so light. The red wine list was extensive and superb, the white wine selection was limited. The burrata salad was outstsnding, with both fresh and crisped tuscan ham. The carbonara was true to original recipe and absolutely delicious. The beet root filled gnocchi were outstanding. The biscotti were so good with the Vin Santo. The owners and waitstaff were so welcoming and attentive, speaking multiple languages. They could not have been more warm and efficient. If you can make a reservation and eat here, you will not be disappointed. If you eat at no other restaurant in Kitzbuhel, it should be this one.

What a difference a year makes. We went to this place twice in the winter of 2018, and it was lovely. Went back recently on a summer trip and itâs changed utterly. Bland menu (fast food-ish), no ambience, curt waiter, unannounced cover charge of 2euro per person (why not call it service charge if you must?) and they didnât warn ahead they donât take cards (itâs 2019 havenât they heard of technology?). So disappointed. One of the best pizzas we have ever had. Better than we managed to find in Rome, and we saw the Italian couple next to us compliment the food and order more risotto so must have been good. Fairly reasonable for Kitzbühel, similar price youâd pay for uk pizza. Great location and whilst you canât book, they turnover tables fairly regularly (without rushing you out)
