Very good and fresh food, mainly pizza and pasta. Sitting is ok, but it lacks the romance as it is part of a deli. Better do not wind up the owner. She snapped a bit on another guest, because he did not fold his umbrella quickly enough... If it would have happened to me it would not be a 4.

This pizza house is amazing. The service and interior is only average (although they did some work on the interior only very recently, so it´s become nicer now), but the food is off the charts. I have eaten some great pizzas in my life, and I must say, these are among the best I´ve ever eaten. I can also recommend the pastas.Really big plus are also the prices. You get top quality for a very low budget. Go and check it out. I personally recommend the "pizza fabio" ;-)

Restaurant da Leo is a quaint little restaurant tucked away in an industrial park. The staff was very friendly and our food came out quickly. Dinner was delicious, the portions are generous and the prices were typical for this type of cuisine. I highly recommend the homemade gelato,it was amazing!

Live right down the street from the restraunt so on Friday nights we would walk there. Always busy, great atmostphere, great service. They are from Italy. They speak Italian and German. But always have someone there that speaks English. Love their menu, variety of many things. From pizza, fish, steak, spagetti and flamkuchen. Everything we have ordered we have been very satisfied.

Wir haen Chicken Bowl und Spaghetti Carbonara. Beide sehr, sehr lecker.Chicken Bowl war voll mit tollen frischen Zutaten. Auch Freitagabend wurde ein Sonderwünsch möglich gemacht.Tolles Essen, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.We'll definitely be ordering again.

I went here with a party of five and we enjoyed the reserved yet attentive hospitality, the quiet atmosphere and of course the beautiful and tasty food. The waiter friendly guides the guests through their selection of drinks and food.Around 10 tables occupy the room and there is room anough to walk between them withouth disturbing other guests. Suffice to say that conversations from nearby tables remain private. The food is of a rare quality. The cooking is obviously done with heart and soul, ie. not your regular professional restaurant type of preparation and this gives a very authentic, warming and delicious taste. The menu has a choice of meat, fish and pasta dishes.Servings are on ceramic colored plates or bowls. (I think the food at SAF deserves other i.e. less opresssive kitchenware as well as non paper napkins). I will not get into detail of our meals, go find out yourself, but just highlight the beautiful arancini arranged on a plate with freshly(!) grated parmesan. Succulent, not fat, echnically perfect. Although they rested too long after preparation and had cooled down too much. I suspect it was very busy in the kitchen. The wine list is adequate but nothing fancy. Italian wines are an art in itself and SAF made a fine selection offered for very reasonable prices. I can only heartily recommend the place.

It was the nearest restaurant to my hotel, for food pickup! Just walk there and ask for the freshest pizzas - they will customize it for you! I could not translate the menus since it was all in German... I showed them how google translate worked and they felt very fascinated by the fact that I could order exactly what I wanted in spite of language barriers.Great food, great people, good sit-out spot as well!Kudos!!

A group of us went to Padallino during a recent visit to Ettlingen. The food was flavorful and light, unlike most American Italian restaurants. Service and prompt and friendly. It seems to be a favorite of the locals as it was bursting by 8:30 pm. I highly recommend the antipasti and the salads.

This was new find for me. Apparently it has just opened in this location and stumbled across it by chance. The cuisine is Italian. The menu is selective but excellent. To an American, the Italian may be more recognizable than the German on the menu. While I love Padallino, this is a smaller and more refined atmosphere and food. Enjoy.
