The menu choice was simple..pizza or calzone, but if you like both... GO! Diksmuide full of pricey restaurants (or else they were closed!) -and this was the only one that didn't need a "walletectomy" However we were not in the least disappointed. We both had the calzone, as this is particular favourite of ours, but this was probably the best we have ever eaten! Friendly service, excellent food, reasonably priced. Place buzzed all evening, with both visitors and locals alike.....it was easy to see why.

I recently used the hall attached to t' Fort for a week's conference, so ate here a few times (as it was next door). At first I thought the slow service was a one off, unfortunately it continued throughout the week and seemed to get worse. The food itself is OK, however these guys don't seem to know how to run a restaurant. They were hardly ever busy and yet dishes took 45+ minutes to arrive (we waited over an hour, one night). Service at the (empty) bar to get a drink generally meant a wait of about 10 minutes, whilst the staff ignored your attempts to get served.When you did order food, by the time you got the side orders, you'd basically finished most of your meal. This place could be good if they maybe employed more than one person to cook all of the meals and gave their staff a few lessons in customer service.
