I live local to this restaurant and visited on many occasions I ordered a takeaway and was told that I just caught them as they were closing Upon arriving home I found the container with my pasta carbonara less than one third full (obviously they didnât want to make another batch) Tonight I called in to ask if there was some mistake and showed them my photo only to be told how could they be certain it was like that when it left them. My response was you can see by the sides of the container there has never had any sauce touch it. I was then told that next time they will check the container before I leave.Sorry but there wonât be a next time unless I need to feed 5 year olds

Had booked a table for 9 people Sunday night for a 40th birthday celebration. We got there early to put balloons on table. The table was not set (we were 20 minutes early) but a very nice waiter (seemed to be in charge but I could be wrong) took the balloons for us and put them on the table. It did take a little while to be served but to be fair to the staff, we all arrived in dribs and drabs. Everyone was attentive and friendly and the food was lovely. Piping hot and all served at the same time.The music was very loud to begin with but the waiter (who seemed to be in charge) turned it down without us even asking, we could all hear each other talk no problem.I will definitely return, it was a fun place and a happy atmosphere

We visited the cafe on Monday 22nd July. Dithering about outside shall we shant we? a lovely Romanian lady came out and invited us in.From that moment we had an amazing lunch, 3 courses for £5.95, huge portions and beautiful freshly cooked food with homemade bread. It was a very warm day and I was using the menu to waft myself. In an instant the waitress came over and offered us water. A pint glass of iced water and lemon wedge appeared, fantastic.Iv'e chosen cheap eats because our lunch menu was a fantastic price, but there is nothing cheap about this fantastic cafe. Everything about this cafe/resturant is excellent, especially the staff, so friendly, happy and helpful. They made our day. Thank you.

Family night out and advised the âgrillâ wasnât working therefore selection was limited. Advised staff I like my steak as rare as can be and doesnât matter if the grill isnât working, just cook it on whatever you have available.....answer......âcanât do that because of the pasta.....and itâs hot todayâ UTTER GARBAGE!!!

This is the third time I have been here following the change to la Torre. Each time has been fab. Great night with the girls- even got free, freshly baked bread to take away! Food is delicious and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

Haven't visited for a while but little has changed: good food with very good service from a pleasant group of staff. House wine by the glass relatively expensive and the pizza would have benefited by being cut into segments--personal thing--makes it easier to eat.

My wife and daughter ate here Saturday afternoon,my daughter ordered a Corbonara which she enjoyed ,the wife ordered a Pizza 'Kiev' (paid extra £2 for chicken ) which she regrets as it's Wednesday now and still ill suffering the effects from food poisoning which she blames on on the "slimey" chicken on the pizza .

Called in on the off chance when house hunting. Staff very friendly and helpful with local knowledge advice. Now the food and service delicious and first class. I know most people would know that Panuccis do takeaway - and although we have been here many times, I didn't realise that they did takeaway food other than Pizza!So when I found out they did takeaway Lasagne I just had to try it...It came with the thinnest most garlicky pizza bread, and it was as delicious as the portions in the restuarant! Of course we had a takeaway pizza as well, just to check it was as nice.... :)I recommend if you can't 'get in, take-out"!
