Booked a room for a post-funeral lunch. From my first interaction with Angela until the moment we left, we were treated professionally. There was a nice selection of entrees and deserts to pre-order. The chef was kind enough to accommodate two vegan diners. We had lobster ravioli, salmon and chicken Florentine (gnocchi for the vegans). Our waiter worked very hard to accommodate our group even as the restaurant scrambled to deal with another funeral party and a bridal shower.

I'll make it quick. We were a party of six, seated promptly when we arrived for our reservation. Drinks arrived quickly and were well made. Everyone loved their meals. My wife and I both had the same things: the crab cake appetizer and a halibut special for the entree. Both were wonderful. You can find some reasonable wines on the menu. We had two vegetarians with us and they found much to like as well. And they have free parking as if you don't care to valet. What not to like! Yes, it was expensive but not at all out of line considering the quality of the food, service, and beautiful atmosphere.

This BYOB restaurant is right on the main street. Parking was a little difficult but worth it. They have a nice selection of Italian dishes. The prices were very reasonable, the food was excellent, and the portions were very good in size. Service was quick and friendly. We had a large group, and everyone was very pleased with the place. I will definitely be going back.

After a disastrous experience for Mothers Day at Bistro, we decided to give it another chance for Fathers Day - only to experience more disappointment. Briefly to sum up my previous mothers day review, we arrived for our reservation time to find that they overbooked, tried to call us but did not have the correct number, so they moved our reservation anyway. We were finally seated next to the front door and because of the overcrowding, people would come in the door (cold, rainy day) and stand in the doorway with door open - no one from Bistro addressed this so i had to constantly get up and shut the door. It took two hours to get some of our entrees - i ordered gnocchi with one meatball but finished my gnocchi before my meatball ever came out. At the 2-1/2 hour mark we decided to ask for the check and skip coffee and dessert. But the short rib gnocchi at Bistro was too hard to resist so we decided to go back for Fathers Day for an early 4:30 reservation. It was a different but still disappointing experience. The place was relatively empty for fathers day so long delays were not the issue but lack of preparation and/or poor management was more likely the issue. I was happy to see a favorite on the appetizer menu so I (Dad) ordered the fried oysters. As the rest of the family was being served their appetizers, i was informed that they did not have oysters and asked if i would like something else - not that big of a deal that they did not prepare for fathers day by having items on the menu but the timing was certainly unacceptable. As dinner moved along, we were constantly brought dishes that were not ours while our dishes were constantly brought to the adjacent table first before being brought to us. As for the meal itself, as i acknowledged in my mothers day review, the short rib gnocchi was still amazing and everyone else was happy with their meal as well. Then came dessert and with pun intended, the icing on the cake of disappointment. I ordered tiramisu - and i will say the tiramisu here is also amazing. I don't often order dessert and was looking forward to this - until the server came back and informed me that at about an hour after the restaurant opened on Fathers Day, that they were out of tiramisu. Now I can envision how it may not be possible to get oysters on some days, or how mistakes by management or staff could result in not telling a customer for 20 minutes that the appetizer he ordered is not available, but not having a signature dessert on a special occasion day can only mean one of two things: either bad management or owners that just don't care because customers will still come. The result is two ruined special occasion days for my family. The short rib gnocchi at Bistro is one of my favorite meals but I will find a new favorite to replace this. And one more note, back in about February we went to Bistro for a 7 pm reservation and of course, I once again ordered my favorite. The server told me that they always run out of the short rib gnocchi early on a Saturday night because it is so popular. If it were my business, i would make sure that i can satisfy my customers and adjust the quantity of this product - but i guess the attitude here is that customers will get what we have, not what they want.

This place has gone way way downhill. I remember coming here years ago with my dad and thinking it was great. When I was here a few days ago with my boyfriend, I was legitimately embarrassed I suggested that we try this place.While the service was great throughout our meal, the huge problem was the food:Sausage and broccoli rabe was mediocre - homemade sausage? really? and the broccoli rabe was overcooked in my opinion.Tagliatelle al Limone - outright bad. I know they use fresh pasta, but this was way way overcooked. The lemon was so overpowering, and not in a good way. The whole thing was just too one-note. No complexity...nothing. The prosciutto was poor quality and flavorless - it added nothing. The entree portion size was too small as well. If you're going to offer entree sizes - actually give entree-size portions or step your pasta game up.Pumpkin Tortellini - This was their pasta special that evening. We literally got 12 tiny tortellini for $23 as the entree size. It was a total joke. Basically $2 per tiny and overcooked tortellini? The pumpkin filling was fine, but could have used more flavor. The brown butter sage sauce was nice, but we were just so off-put by how ridiculous the portion size was.We were so bummed out that we decided not to waste any more money on dessert. Save your money and don't come to this place until they get their act together. This was such a disappointment, especially because this restaurant used to be SO MUCH BETTER.

Had a lovely Friday night at Nunzios with friends. We were seated right on time in the first part of the restaurant. The ambiance was amazing-seemed like we were in a courtyard in Italy! Lots of decorations and color. We were packed in closely. Luckily our table was more toward a pathway. Waiters and customers farther in had to squeeze their way through.Tasty bruschetta for an appetizer as well as some delicious crispy plain bread (with a weird green butter or something-I wouldVastly prefer an herbed olive oil for dipping) for the table. Waiter quickly filled our water glasses and took extra glasses away. We brought some tasty beers, but a bottle of wine would have fit with the ambiance and the food better. The men had salads-house salad was meh, but Caesar salad delicious.Main meals arrived fairly quickly-really a perfect amount of time to chat. One special of Mediterranean bass stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp was excellent. Slightly changed pasta with sun dried tomatoes and crabmeat-I asked for shrimp instead of crab and it was no problem. This was completely dairy free and absolutely wonderful. The veal shank was a huge hunk of meat and seemed to be delicious. Iâm disturbed by the whole tortured baby cow idea of veal though...One appetizer, 2 salads, 4 outstanding meals, with just water to drink since byob, total cost with good tip was $180. I have enjoyed Philadelphias La Violla for many decades. When I visited Collingswood's Il Fiore and it had the same menu and much of the same staff I understood. It is great, reasonable and the waiters have great accents. I like the grilled calamari w a great vinegarette and the Salmon. It is a reliable choice with friends, family to dine or to celebrate a special occasion - like Thursday.

My wife and I were here on a Friday night and had a very good dinner.Included salad was good and my veal parmigiana with pasta/garlic oil was excellent. My wife's veal Marsala would have also been excellent if it wasn't swimming in sauce.swimming in sauce. The veal in both dishes was very good--pounded thin and it was quite tender--a big plus. The bread was quite ordinary despite the excellent olive oil so that was a disappointment. Good bread is the sign of a very good restaurant so help needed there. Service was very good throughout the meal. Very nice to have a choice of different pastas and sauces with the entree. Prices were reasonable.
