Visited for lunch. Friendly welcome from staff with English menus provided. Pub meals but nicely done, big portions and good value.Menu ranges from panini, pizzas and bruschetta to cheesburgers and fries. Meal for 4 with drinks about 35 Euro.Would certainly return if in Cittadella

perfect place in quiet town, minimalistic , quiet sober décor. small menu mainly burgers. and daily special. service excellent, food looking and tasting great. fries actually sliced thick mandoline and oven baked, brilliant. my colleagues went for different burgers, all pleased with their choice. personally went for scallops, awesome in looks and flavorpleasant ending to dinner with coffee on the outdoor terrace. good value for money

When visiting the medieval town of Cittadella, we stopped at this place for lunch.A nice welcome (with a documented explanation by the waiter that as a driver I could have two glasses of wine :)) in a quiet but nice place behind the enoteca (there is also the possibility of a terrace with an unique view on the Duomo but we preferred the airconditioned room inside).A relatively small menu but with excellent suggestions and good wines all at decent prices.The starters and main courses we had were all excellent as the wines.In summary : a very good place I am more than happy to recommend!

Nice ambient and friendly staff. We tried quite a lot of pizza... and had fun. If you'll get lost in Cittadella stop at Herb at least for small "grappa".

We stopped in for lunch at this very nice taverna. It's tastefully decorated, has polite staff, relaxing music, and a lovely terrace.We only wanted something light so just went for a first-course each. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the gnocchi were really very special - my only quibble would be the portions which were a touch miserly!

We were in Cittadella celebrating my friend's birthday, and hear Italian relatives had reserved a table at Trattoria Alla Nave.What a fantastic feast we had! For the first course, we enjoyed the house specialty. It was amazing. Some sort of melt-in-your mouth cannelloni with Balsamea. Fabulous!There were various options to order for the main course. Several types of vegetables were served along with the main.The wine was quite good and the tiramisu for dessert was tasty as well.The woman who is co-owner was quite amusing, full of laughs and obviously very entertaining. She does not speak a word of English. Her son, however, has a wonderful English skills, and he was able to list the many options for dinner without any effort.So, even if you don't speak Italian, just tell the woman who will greet you that you don't speak Italian and tell her that you speak English. She will then ask her son to come out and make certain that you are comfortable.It will be a great experience that you will not regret!

If you're looking for a place with great atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic people who serve you then look no further than Hosteria Veneta. I stumbled upon this upmarket little place my last weekend in Cittadella and went back everyday until I left so I could try most things on the menu, all of which was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the raw beef on rocket and pasta with raw fish. If life brings me back to Cittadella this is definitely the first place I would stop at to grab a bite to eat. Thank you

Posizione magnifica sotto i portici della piazza antistante Villa Contarini.Luogo curato, mangiati dei ravioli interessanti e un buon hamburger. Prezzi non economici. Servizio di rara cortesia, in particolare da parte di una ragazza dalla simpatia contagiosa.

I have eaten in Spigoi many times and have never had a bad experience. Michele and his team really know how to look after you. The food is excellent and they have a varied menu, with an option of a wood cooked barbeque outside during the summer months. Give this place a try, I am sure you will return like I have.
