Went on a friday night at 530 with about 10 people in the whole restaurant.We were quickly greeted by the owner and given a table. We were then quickly greeted. After that service stayed friendly but extremely slow to non existent which is frustrating when its slow.We ordered our appetizers and bar drink at the same time. The appetizers came and were almost eaten before our drinks ever came. At time we went as long as 15 minutes before server came back. Would have had additional drinks if it didnt take so long.As for the food it was excellent. The fried calamari was ok but we enjoyed the staglione salad, capaelliacci di zucca, pizza and crab cakes.The pasta was definitely fresh. The kitchen needs to add more sauce to the dishes. We needed more balsamic for the salad, more sauce for the crab cake and wanted more sauce for the pasta but got tired waiting for server to come by.We had the affogato for dessert with gelato.While the server was very friendly we expected way better service for price and for how slow it was.Overall, food was incredible and reccomend it for that reason...hopefully you'll have better service.

We had the eveningâs special, the halibutâ that came perfectly cooked, tender and delicious, offered in a very generous amount. This was surrounded by an attractive display of several kinds of vegetables that were also perfectly cooked, added to which was a small purple orchid: An appealing plate with delicious food in an amount that was sufficient. The accompanying bread had a nice crust, soft center, and was delicious. Add a large bottle of San Pelagrino and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc and there you have the totally satisfying meal. We stayed and talked, undisturbed, for nearly three hours while the place hummed with diners all enjoying attentive, but not cloying service, and animated conversation. They seemed as happy being there as we were. Attractive indoor seating, or outdoors on the sidewalk, up to you. Itâs not Rome or the Amalfi Coast, but for southern California, it satisfies and delights.

This is an excellent restaurant in every way. It has a very good wine selection that complements menu and nightly dinner specials. Our buffalo mozzarella salad was the freshest ever. For entrees the scallops with a pistachio pesto was amazing and the seafood linguine was very good as well. Service was top notch.

Leucadia Pizza makes great regular and GF pizza. Their Apple Walnut salad is a great starter. We were also very impressed with their updated facilities and patio. Theyâre conveniently located across from Moonlight Beach at the corner of Encinitas Blvd and the PCH (HWY 101).

The artisan pizza was delicious. They have many varieties to choose from and all looked delectable. The crust is the percent size-not too thick or too thin. The gluten free pizza crust was the best Iâve ever had! The sauce could be a bit more plentiful but was quite adequate. It was truly one of the better pizzas Iâve ever had, as their toppings are plentiful and large! The size of the pizza is six slices or about 12 inches and our family of four each ordered one and we still took home a pizza and a half. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful night so we chose to eat outside and people watch. The food came fast and the service staff was quick and efficient. If craving pizza this is the place to come.

We had a hankering for Italian while heading toward the meditation garden. We found two restaurants with good reviews and apparently chose the right one. This trattoria was really good â a wonderful surprise. The ambience was nice and the service efficient and friendly. The food was really good. The saffron rice was some of the best I ever had and the osso buco perfectly cooked. The duck salad was quite nice with perfectly dressed spinach. The carpaccio was nice, although the rocket salad dressing was a bit too sour for my taste. The only failure in my opinion was the crème brûlée. It is my favorite dessert, so I have had many. Instead of the light cream, it was more like a dense, sweet omelet.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were continuously pleased by everything we ordered. Cool funky little space, all windows looking towards the coast, a nice big bar and a sweet little deck await whatever type of visit youâre looking for. Frederico took amazing care of us at the bar, helped us make solid decisions while offering up others on his own. Literally everything from the fresh bread and garlic tomato dipping sauce at the start to our entrees and wine selection were superb. Weâll definitely be back for a quick bite at the coast. Ciao!
