Just looking for a place to eat we ended up here. A bit of an odd shaped restaurant in a street alongside of the main street of cavalese. A nice girl helped us quickly to a table and asked if we wanted the menu in german or english. There are a few starters, a few mains and a lot of pizzas and pasta on the menu. We started with some nice coldcuts with cheese and our main was pizza. All very tadtefull. Together with some drinks and coffee we ended up paying just under â¬50 so very good for price / quality.

We were just looking for a quiet restaurant after a skiing day, but Sottovoce proved to be the best restaurant we tried during this trip. All round very good food. From pizza to a thin fillet steak in lemon sauce, milanesa and local dumplings everything was very well cooked, well presented and with generous portions. Selecting or changing the side dishes was offered at no extra cost, and at the end of the meal we were offered limoncello. All this with very friendly and helpful waiters and an excellent service. A very pleasant surprise and an excellent meal. We will be back.

Tried their onion soup and focaccia with speck, and Puzzone di Moena cheese. The onion soup - lot of room for improvement. The other vegetables soups all had beans so I could choose only this one. The focaccia was really good. I enjoyed the wine Ballestarius, and the Sacher desert was tasty. Very very kind staff, and good service.I'd return to this place.

Great food and ingredients. The chef's touch can be seen and tasted in every dish. Not your typical Italian classics that you can find nearly anywhere. The tasting menu is great and affordable.We had an amazing deer (cervo) carpaccio which had a subtle pine taste, served with great fried apple balls. Fettucine al Ragù made out of deer meat, served with sliced crispy speck. We finished the meal with one of the best (pear) Tatin I've had.Great service and good choice of wine/grappaCozy and romantic atmosphere but might be better for cold, winter evenings.Molto gentili per avere apprezzato la nostra cucina e trasmesso le vostre emozioni. Il nostro impegno viene ripagato proprio con questo. Se avrete modo di passare d'estate ci saranno nuove proposte e perché no, se la natura sarà generosa ci saranno i funghi che verranno proposti in gustosissime pietanze.Grazie molte Rosalba

Being myself a native of the beautiful Fiemme Valley, I seldom go out eating in local restaurants. But La Cantinetta is something: the family running this small and cosy restaurant in the little town of Varena knows how to prepare delicious food, strongly relating to the local tradition but with a touch of creativity. Not to miss: canederli, carne salada e Birra di Fiemme!

Stopped here for lunch with family. The outdoor seating was very inviting, but we chose the indoor seating with comfortable air conditioning! The entire restaurant looked brand new and very well decorated.The service was decent and the food was amazing! The pasta tasted homemade and the salad with grilled beef was so savory. The additional sautéed mushrooms made it even better.They need to redesign the bathroom. There is no privacy between the men's and women's bathrooms. Strongly recommend.
