Nous étions de passage à Messimy pour une cousinade le samedi et nous ne savions pas où diner le vendredi soir. Notre hôte AirBnB nous avait préparé un classeur en carton rouge avec plein de bonnes adresses dont La Belle Etoile à Soucieu-en-Jarrest. Nous appelons, une table pour deux en terrasse nous attend !Nous arrivons à Soucieu-en-Jarrest, le gérant nous accueille les bras ouverts avec un grand sourire. Nous nous installons à une petite table pour deux, sur la terrasse. Une coupe de pétillant, une petite salade en entrée, et des gambas flambées en plat. Un délice ! L'ensemble des plats était très bon, bien assaisonné, bien présenté, frais, fait maison et moderne. A la fin du repas, nous avons pu échanger avec le gérant, et cela n'a fait que contribuer à la bonne ambiance de la soirée. Bref, excellente soirée, grâce aux bons petits plats, grâce au super accueil, grâce à ce beau village.Et vous savez quoi ? Nous y sommes retournés le lendemain, et l'accueil était encore plus chaleureux ! Merci, et allez- y sans souci !!

Commande de 4 pizzas par téléphone à 19h30Ok pour 20h45Arrivé à 20h45. Après 1/4 dâheure dâattente, on revient vers nous pour reprendre notre commande ! Elle était perdue !On attend encore 1/2 heure.Beaucoup de travail et peu de personnel nous répond la patronne !Aucune excuses en nous encaissant.Quand même une pizza gratuite, sans le sourire.Pizza bien plus chère que partout ailleurs, et pas meilleure.Bref. Première et dernière fois.

This Italian restaurant is a cosy place with delightfully fresh pizzas. Colourful but tasty decorated with full focus on making their customers happy. You can really save a lot of money going/ordering from Zappo instead of the touristy places. And the food is great. They even have a full range of mozzarella. Was welcomed by a friendly employee. Had a simple pizza and was amazed how fast it was served. The big oven delivers! Nice pizza. Friendly personnel. Glad it isn't around the corner from my home. Otherwise I'd probably visit it too often.

Like the title of this review, the place is great for kids - children's menu, a gift for keeping them busy until food comes out, and a balloon on the way out. And it's open at 18:30, which is 30 minutes earlier than most other restaurants in France. Other than this, not much to say. It's a chain with very unremarkable Italian food. The pizzas are probably the safest choice on the menu. It's a big place, but even so it can get very crowded on a Friday night or weekend.

This Trattoria Caffe is a simple little restaurant. The owner/chef is italian and his food is all that a person could ask for: Excellent pizzas and a daily menu with several choices.The tables are served by the chef and his wife. The service is very good and the delicatessen on the other side of the restaurant has excellent products imported from Italy
