Wir waren öfters und gerne hier, weil die Terrasse und Speisen attraktiv und lecker sind. Weinempfehlungen gut, Pizzabrot nicht durch. Vitelli Tonnato Klasse, Salat toll. Leider muss man sich intensiv gegen Bestellaufforderungen wehren, Service freundlich aber aufdringlich.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier.Die Dame im Service war sehr freundlich.Leider bekamen wir unsere Speisen nicht wie bestellt. Statt einem groÃen und einem kleinen Salat bekamen wir 2 kleine.Auch hatten wir einige Zutaten in den Speisen abbestellt, die dann allerdings doch enthalten waren.Geschmacklich waren Salat und Pizza gut.Die Nudeln schwammen leider in Sauce.Während unseres Aufenthaltes unterhielt sich die Chefin zum Teil sehr laut privat, was etwas störend war.

Wer schnell eine Pizza essen möchte, ist hier richtig. Die durchgängig geöffnete Küche bietet alle möglichen Pizzen auf Bestellung oder man lässt sich ein fertiges Stück nach Auswahl aus der Vitrine aufbacken. Der Boden ist schön dünn und knusprig, die Bedingung flink und freundlich. Einziges Manko: Will man die Pizza vor Ort essen sitzt man nicht sonderlich bequem.

My German friends rave about this place, so on a brief visit recently it was not a surprise that they booked to go here again. A reservation was necessary as it was a Saturday night and the Ahrweiler Christmas night market was in full flow. The owner Franco made us welcome. His staff are very hospitable. My son ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was a generous size. He said it was very good, though not the best he ever had. I fancied some Gorgonzola so ordered the Pavarotti pizza with gorgonzola and mushrooms. This was very tasty. However their style of pizza is quite unusual to me; not the thick American crust pizzas that one often gets in chains like PizzaHut, but neither the very thin crust pizzas one usually gets in Italy. A kind of mixture of the two styles. We had tiramisu for dessert, which was very good. Over all a very enjoyable meal, though I certainly have had better Italian food, even in England - but perhaps that is personal taste. I would be very happy to return yet again. Cost wise, prices are more than you would expect to pay in Italy but less than England or France for an equivalent meal.

I visited here while on a business trip, it was recommended by my colleague. Although the menu was not in English the staff were very helpful and understanding. I had a very tasty onion soup followed by lamb. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. A definite possibility if you are stopping in this lovely town.

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant very much.Outdoor seating was quite occupied and there also was a lot of smoking around. We chose to sit inside.The two waiters serving the full house were quite charming and attentive.We had Italian wine, beer, a dish with New Zealand lamb & rabbit and also pork chops with spinach & Gorgonzola cheese. For dessert we had tiramisu and then as after-dinner digestif, Ramazzotti, which was also good. It was an all around good meal.

We stayed in the glorious medieval town of Ahrweiler for a week and ate at La Perla on 3 evenings.Wonderful platefuls of steaming hot, tasty, glorious pasta. And extremely good prices.The carbonara sauce is a delight - rich and creamy and garlicky. My husband loved the sea food pasta and we both loved the ambiance and the super friendly staff. They are a family run restaurant and it shows. They are part Greek, part German and part Italian. What a glorious heady mixture that is so reflected in the menu and the cooking.Talk to Paddy, the daughter of the family - super efficient and super fun. It is best to book a table if you can as it gets very busy.Monday is their ruhe tag (closed for the day and evening).You must try this wonderful restaurant when you are in this beautiful town.

My wife and I popped in here with no expectations what soever. We could not have been more pleased. This little Italian eatery was fabulous. Sophia our waitress was so sweet with her English and recommendations. My wife's mussels were a hit as was my carbonara.

We only had a late dessert here and it was great! Ordered at 22hrs, while the open kitchen was being cleaned, had it 10 minutes later. Costs: approx. â¬5 per dish. Great taste, friendly staff, mediterranean decorations and good menu of what we saw. Would really like to eat here again!
