Stopped by for lunch. This is an upscale cafe with a very diverse menu. The food was tasty and the staff was friendly and efficient.. The restaurant is only a few months old and is quite clean and fresh.

Came here by boat. Location is nice with superb views across the water. Service was friendly depending on who was waiting. Food was very disappointing. Would not come again other than drinks.

Not so easy to find a service that is fast in The Netherlands. The Wonder's has a service that is fast and friendly.The food however is reasonable, but the atmosphere is very nice. It's a place to enjoy in the outside tables having a beer in a sunny day. It's located in a nice small square in Zaandam, just a walking distance from the Tsar Peter's house.

We were here for a day, and was staying across the street and saw this place here, which seemed to be busy with people eating. The menu looked good and pricing seemed reasonable so we decided to give it a go! We ordered one of those multi course meals and ate outside as it was beautiful weather! Food was delicious - the vanilla ice cream was so tasty and the waitress informed us they order it from an outside place, and it came with this rich chocolate syrup and it tasted SO good. For appetizer, I had thin slices of watermelon with prosciutto and my main course was fish! Everything was delicious and it was a TON of food. If this place was in my hometown, I'd go here again for a special occasion dinner. This place has an English menu and everyone also spoke good English, so it was easy to communicate. Knowing we were tourists, the male waiter offered to take a picture of me and my boyfriend (we didn't even ask) and towards the end of the dinner, we asked for direction help on getting to the airport. There was a female waitress and she was so kind and helpful and looked up the timing of the train for us and directed us for our early flight for the next morning. We also didn't feel rushed with our dinner even though it was getting late and there was only 1 other person dining. We found the train the next morning and made it safely to the airport - thank you so much!Dear miss, THANK YOU for writing this very, very kind review! We went to Slagers for lunch on the way and dinner on the way back to the train from Zaanse Schans. The hot ginger tea is lovely and we both enjoyed the vegetarian open sandwich on their dark brown bread. At dinner Myles had the steak and chips, which was cooked to perfection, and I had the ravioli, lovely fresh pasta.

Came here with big group for lunch. Place is big and can house a lot of people. Food was excellent, I loved the cod fish, but service is slow. The restaurant is located in a famous attraction in Zaandam. Although service is slow, but to me, it was worth the wait.

The ambiance is amazing, you really have the feel of a castle.Before the name was Marquette but the feel is still the same.Very good service and nice food.
