As the title says was our 2 best meals of the holidays, missed this when searching for local places and it caught our eye when walking past so decided on a whim to go in, first impressions were good, lovely deco, the owner greeted us and gave us a choice of tables and made us feel very welcome, we were hungry so ordered starters (prawns were superb) and then home made lasagne for main, eyes bigger than belly but well worth it, second time went with pizza and the missus had the lamb which she devoured reluctantly sharing a small morsel with me. If there day off was not Wednesday we would have visited a third time, it really is that good.

We ate here half a dozen times during our recent stay, the food was excellent every time, the service prompt and attentive, and the lovely waiter "George" (Gyorgi, he is Bulgarian) made us feel like VIP's each time. The restaurant was spotless, the lighting was relaxing (unlike the usual fluorescent lighting you get in Spain!), and there was a choice of comfortable couches or nicely set dining tables. It's airy and light, and has a lovely view of the avenue (Avinguda Rosa del Vents) with its palm trees and grassy areas. It's situation is quiet, although only a short walk from the beach. I would recommend any of the dishes, we sampled many, and all were excellent, but the langostinas al barbacoa (grilled crayfish) were especially good, and they serve the most enormous skewered grilled meats on what looks like two crossed swords, spectacular! (And very tasty). Three courses for two, with wine coffee and soft drinks comes in at about 45 euros (around £32). Pictured on the left is Fried feta cheese, a starter, which comes with a cranberry jam and salad, I had this twice, it was so good. The staff are happy to recommend dishes from their extensive menu to suit your tastes, and ready to explain what the menu means if you need this. The wines are all good, and the Bulgarian reds delicious. We are looking forward to going back again next year! Recommended for couples, families, groups, or singles, all appear to receive the same welcome and good service. Just lovely!

We stayed in the hotel for two nights for my birthday treat and had dinner in the restaurant. We found the food to be very good, fresh and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. The set price menu (40 euros) was very fair for this level of restaurant and the wine was also reasonable priced. We enjoyed our experience very much.

Ended up having dinner here after going up and down the seafront restaurants in La Vila. Three of the four of us went for steak, and excellent it was. Two well done, one medium, done perfectly! And a good size too and perfectly seasoned as well. Add a sauce and we all said it was the best steak we had had in a long, long time. Well priced too. Well worth the visit, and when we come back here there will be time wasted trawling up and down the seafront, Casa Azul it will be!

Fantastic seafront location with attentive, friendly waiters. This evening there was impromptu music from local accordionist accompanied by the owner singing. For starters we had patatas bravas, which were very fried potato wedges with a small side dish of curry sauce and sour cream and calamari, which were more dough than calamari. We had heard that the pasta dishes were lovely so we opted for lasagne and tagliatelle with chicken. Both were just ok.

Both food and service are really great. You should definitely have a walk all along the beach from the old town to enjoy it. A nice bonus in addition - given the place is not in the very centre, it is not overcrowded and so you have a chance to have an awesome dinner without booking in advance.Thank you very much, Olga
