We had to try this restaurant due to the persistence of the staff on the footpath touting for customers.Wasn't overfull but offering specials on drinks Orders taken and drinks provided but not a lot of followup.Meals were Ok but not over the top standard was reasonable.Has a nice layout but as is the thing with staff in Bali you have to push for some service.Not the best I have been to but also not the worst.Its worth a try.

Breakfast was okay, but my gauge for measuring a great hotel breakfast is (a) the presence of a juice bar, or at least a good selection of juices and (b) the ability of the chef to make a decent eggs benedict. I stayed in Novotel Benoa for a few days every year. Itâs a fabulous hotel with beautiful staffs. I have never ever written a review for Cocos Beach Restaurant because the serving staffs are just wonderful people. Always smiling and obligating. The ambiance is relaxing. Itâs a fantastic place to spend your afternoon. I would happily come have my brunch here everyday if there are consistency in the quality of the food served. There are days where the food are awesome. I usually go for nasi goreng or mee goreng because these are the most basic staple in Bali. If a restaurant couldnât serve these properly, then itâs probably not worth my time. However here, itâs hit and miss. Thatâs the reason why I still come back here during every stay, hoping that it will be my lucky day that day. Last year I was served spring rolls that escaped the hell fire. It had a third degree burn on the outside. Today I had lukewarm nasi goreng with bland taste. I had to add salt & peppers and lots of cut chili to it. For dessert, I ordered crepes with ice cream from the waffle station by the pool. But I was served thin pancakes trying to pass off a crepes with melted ice cream. Please note it was melted, not melting. When I enquired, the answer is they donât have the crepe machine anymore. As always, food not up to standard was taken off my bill. No question asked and the staffs are always apologetic. Iâm feeling super guilty for writing this review. But itâs not about money and service here. It is about consistency in quality & taste. Having say that, Iâm very sure I will still go back for lunch during my stay next month. Iâm not looking forward to it. Maybe cup noodle is a better option if Iâm too lazy to go out for lunch.

This restaurant offered free welcoming drinks, free entree (spring rolls) and free fruit to finish, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered chicken and steak for our respective mains. The meals were extremely well presented and the steak was cooked as per my request. It was a lovely atmosphere to enjoy our evening meal and represented value for money. I would eat back there again and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Quite enjoyed this restaurant and bar. We visited on two occasions. Food was delicious (I had the Mie Goreng and the Suckling Pig). Service was attentive and prompt. My only suggestion for improvement would to ensure that meals come out together, we had all finished our dinner however one of our party was still waiting for their main meal. The bar also has some local entertainment in the form of a singer/guitarist who (despite some notes) was a enjoyable to listen to. Definitely worth a visit.
