The food was average and the view was nice, however there were some men selling souvenirs at a stall at the lodge and they had a chained up monkey who looked really depressed and just wanted to be free. This place will never see us again as they clearly support animal cruelty by allowing this on their premises.

Good food, big portions, reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. We are staying here for a week. Tried an other restaurants but here is always good, delicious, fast and good prices. Very cozy place.

Food at Kendwa Rocks was pretty average and somewhat disappointing for a nice hotel like this. Indian dishes were bland, salad was poor, but dessert was very good. WiFi didnât work and music was way too loud. Why do they need a DJ with a sound system for a few people having late lunch? They are located on the nicest beach in Zanzibar, so at least the view is great.Dear Diverstroms,Thank you very much for spending the time to review your meal with us and sharing your thoughts with the Tripadvisor community. This little cozy place amazed me with special effects and spaghetti like at home.Nice atmosphere and very funny waiter.I advice this restaurant because the quality of the food but also because of its price,, you can have a pasta dish, a Nutella Crepes and a glass of wine with less than 10$.Hi guysThanks a lot for your nice words and thanks for visiting us. We stayed at Natural kendwa for two nights and dined at La Fontana on both evenings for dinner.Amazing pizza!!! Variety of foods to choose from. The staff are also amazing, attentive and always making sure you are nothing less than satisfied.Apologies for no pictures, i was too busy enjoying the food!Do pay them a visit, you wont be sorry!

We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we had really nice food and service. The fish is fresh, tasty and well cooked and all the ingredients are locals, showing that is an ethic business. We really appreciate that they donât use too many plastic bottles encouraging the clients to get the jar of water to reduce plastic pollution. Everything is home made, even the pasta, which is amazing. We stayed at the hotel next to it so for us was perfect but the nice thing is that we could see many many people from other hotels in the area coming to have dinner at the Bistrò! The owners Salvatore and Roberta take care of every little thing and they make sure that every details is perfect. The location is elegant and modern with a touch of Zanzibar style. The service is friendly and fast (something difficult to find in Zanzibar)! Prices are really good especially for quality of the food and location. We had such a great time and great food! See pictures for more details! Your words are so sweet like you, dear francy.....We try to do our best every day to give a good service to the guests and we are so happy to host guests from all the hotels of Kendwa and also from other cities. Quality of the food, cleaning and service are our focus point , we are so proud you noticed and mentioned, as also the use of jag of glass instead the plastic bottle of water.....when guests are satisfied we are more than happy!!!!!!! Discovered this place accidentally on a review site. It is walking distance from anywhere on Nungwi Beach really - just ask a local and they will either point you in the right direction or walk you! Just past Istanbul Restaurant on the beach to the left, as Google Maps doesn't give an accurate location. Great energy! Great staff -- super friendly! Great fries! Great fresh drinks! The smoothies are tasty. The ceviche was delicious - tuna and mango!
