Had the Menu del Dia for â¬14. Rare to get a proper Risotto in Spain, as good as many in Italy. Interesting and nicely presented. Good Crianza. Generous portions. Turron ice cream very creamy. They have Mexican evenings for â¬20 a head I would definitely go back and give it a try.

We went to Frida on a Thursday night and were warmly welcomed by the waiter, who made us feel at ease instantaneously. We ordered the nachos-machos and quesadillas, both of which we shared. Canât say the portion of quesadillas were too big but the nachos were the best Iâve had!: home made and so was the tasty guacamole. Finally, we ordered dessert: the strawberry crumble which was the cherry on top of the cake, fresh and not too sweet, just the right combination of flavors. I wish I could stay for longer in Santander just so that I could go back to Frida for dinner!

Far from the madding crowd, in a lovely corner of Santander is this new restaurant. Offering a super selection of âoff the usualâ cuisine- Moroccan, Venezuelan etc. Extremely helpful owner explained the various choices on offer and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. Deserts were equally delicious highly recommend the flan! For those of us not fluent Spanish speakers fear not! The owner has fluent English Give it a try you wonât regret it! Thank you so much, it was a pleasure having you and we hope to see you again whenever you're back here in Cantabria :)

I have already been to this new restaurant a few times, it never dissapoints! Two authentic japanese chefs and a fresh produce guarantee a perfect experience. Great ceviches and tartars and different california rolls and temakis, beautifully presented and authentic, delicious flavours. Cocktails are sake/vodka/rum based with different flavours to choose...delicious combination with the food. You can also snack on the high tables outside or just have a drink with the locals.Prices are fair, around 20â¬-25â¬person cocktails and wines included!Addictive!
